Description of Work: Used Angie's list coupon for 8 hours of painting. Two workers completed painting of entryway and hallway in 4 hours (8 man hours of work)

Description of Work: I had winter ice damage to my bathroom. Luis cut and patched the damage then painted the ceiling. He also primed my kitchen ceiling and walls where there was water damage and an area in my living room where a wall mounted tv was recently removed. He was very thorough. He did a wonderful job. I would use him again.

Description of Work: Although the appointment was made more than 1 month in advance of the work being done, I was told 2 days before the job to buy my own tarp/plastic covering for floors, etc and my own rollers. They also asked for primer which was only needed in a small area beneath one window. No one came to look at the job and tell me how much paint/primer to buy, and I bought too much. I bought paint for the trim but the painter never opened the can or painted the trim. He did a nice job on the walls, but the deal was for 3 hours and he was only at my home for slightly more than one hour. I assumed the trim would be painted, and I did leave him the paint for the walls and for the trim. I expected both to be painted, especially as there was plenty of time left after the walls were done. I didn't go up to check on the work until after he'd left. I should have been more insistent, but as a professional, he should not have left the job unfinished, i.e. the trim undone and only the walls painted.
