Just like 15 years ago when we first hired Otto's, the service was excellent. It was a pleasure to work with Joe who took the time to address our concerns, make recommendations, and meet our needs. I highly recommend Otto's Lock Service.

Friendly, courteous, prompt and thorough

We had a great experience dealing with Otto's. It was easy to book the appointment and the overall services preformed were fantastic. Joe arrived promptly, explained what needed to be done, changed six the door locks and made keys within the hour. He also adjusted the plate on the front door so that our deadbolt worked properly. We would recommend Otto's without a doubt. Thank you for the great work and confidence knowing that our home is secure.

I would definitely use Otto's Lock Service again. The gentleman that answered my call was very polite, and was able to make an appointment within a few days of my call. The man that showed up at my house was on time, very polite, and a quick worker. I had originally only mentioned installing a deadbolt in my front door, and realized after I made the appointment that I had another request for them to re-key and install a lock in the back door. Even though he was not planning on doing both, he was able to accommodate my request during the same appointment, and very quickly. He also noticed that when I installed a deadbolt in the back, that I had not done it correctly, and fixed it without me asking, and at no charge. The cost was very reasonable. Great experience all around, will certainly use them again and recommend them.

They showed up during the alloted 2 hour window. The gentleman was very friendly. He fixed the deadbolt on my back door, explained why it wasn't working properly and proceeded to fix the problem. I am extremely pleased with the work and the cost.

Not only that! He gave me tips on my upstairs door knobs that are the old types with a skeleton key style and basically he saved me hundreds of dollars from making the mistake of trying to replace the old knobs with modern ones. Thank you again for your amazing service!

When I checked Angie's list to find a local locksmith, there was a computer glitch, according to customer service, that prevented me from finding more than one listed anywhere in my area, and that was Otto's Lock, SVC. I called one other from the yellow pages, just for comparison, and although the latter's service fee was much lower, I had a much better feeling about the warm, professional and knowledgeable woman who answered the phone for Otto's. It turns out I was right to follow my gut feeling, because I found out the cheaper locksmith is not local at all, but an outfit in NYC that hires local people on a part-time basis who may or may not be qualified, and there have been many complaints about them. I will not name them because I don't know this for a fact, but am a firm believer that you get what you pay for and it pays to follow your instincts. I couldn't have been more pleased with my experience with Otto's Lock SVC.

Otto's was extremely professional and punctual. The job was large in scope because we had many doors on the house. We were very pleased with the quaity of his work. He cleaned up all the sawdust from the drilling too. Also, he was very pleasant and understanding of having to work around all the other contractors that we had on site that day as well. We wouldn't hestitate to use Ottos again.

On the day of my house closing, Otto re-keyed several locks on my house. He was friendly, prompt and professional, BUT he lost the original house key after he changed the first lock, which added a fair amount of time to the job. We also realized afterward that it would have been about $80 cheaper for us to go down to Home Depot and buy new locks ourselves...

They were great. They did the job in March this year. The guy came amazingly fast and did a good job. He was a nice guy and a pleasure to deal with. The price was reasonable. It is a family run business.

I called Otto's on a Thursday and they came the next day at the exact time they said they would. Very professional and fast service. Would definitely use them again. The final price was a little more than the estimate but I forgot about the basement door. That was my fault.

THEY ARE EFFECTIVE AND EFFICIENT. THEY ARE AS GOOD AS ANY I IMAGINE. THEY GOT THE JOB DONE. BOTH THE FRONT AND BACK DOOR LOCKS WERE REPLACED. I HAD LOST THE OLD KEYS.
