The work went great and our floors turned out spectacular, David is a true professional and made sure the work was done properly and correctly. He was very responsive over e-mail and the phone providing updates on the job.

The job was done quickly, the cleanup was great, the price seemed reasonable.

It went very well. Dave met with us and gave us all the possible options and choices. Had great suggestions and solutions to any problems that might have come up. The workers were on time and very professional. They are true craftsman and the results show it. We love our new floors and will deffinitely use them again when we do the remaining floors in the house.

David was fantastic from start to finish. He came over for the consultation and brought a various amount of options for us to see. On the actual day of service, he came by and checked on as the work progressed to he sure that it was to our satisfaction. And it was! We're really happy to finally have hardwood flooring in our home.

Furthermore, he was very trustworthy as he did the work while we were away from home. Ultimately, we came home to newly refinished hardwood floors and couldn't be happier.

We had the work done while we were on vacation and had planned for the work to be complete before our relatives arrived for a visit. The provider misunderstood the arrival date, and the work was not done when family came. In any event, they finished the job, and we arrived home. I was displeased with the results, called them back, showed the foreman my issues, and they fixed everything beautifully. One of the best marks of a provider is how they handle the bidding process and how they handle complaints. In both cases, Dave Baker of Floor Coverings did a very professional job. Further, I would recommend to Angie's List subscribers that they talk to their providers before, during and after the job. It saved our sanity and certainly restored our faith in service providers rated well on Angie's List.

The job went very smoothly from start to finish, and our floor turned out beautifully. David Baker, the owner, spent a lot of time with us up front, going over various problem areas and suggesting alternatives (such as a kit for the basement stair treads). His attention to detail was evident throughout. Once the job began, he spent a lot of time on site with the crew to make sure everything went smoothly. A couple of other things I appreciated: punctuality, staying on schedule, and prompt responses to both phone calls and emails. It was truly a pleasure to work with David.

One of the staff of Floor Coverings International was very professional. He was on time, he got me the estimate in the promised time frame he indicated. He was responsive to several questions through the e-mail or phone. He set me all the necessary documents as far as proof of insurance references and anything else I asked for.

It was a pleasure to work with David throughout the entire project. He is knowledgable about his work not only in the process necessary to achieve a beautiful floor but at the end of the job spent time explaining what we can do for the next 30 years to keep it looking as it does now.He was always on time and if traffic was causing a slight delay would call us to let us know he would be a few minutes late.

They did a very good job. The pricing was comparable. He's a good guy, does a good job and is always reachable. He's reliable and an ethical worker. He responds immediately to phone calls and arrives when he says he will. He stays until the job is complete and brings samples to my home. In general, ethical and professional behavior. I have referred him to friends and they have all been happy with his work as well.

It turned out very well. I was very pleased with how it worked out. They were right there on time each and every time. The flooring was $10 per square foot. I had removed all the previous flooring and moved all the furniture before the installation. I was not charged for that labor, but their price was very reasonable. I found Floor Coverings International to have the best deal between price, service, and quality. I will be hiring them in the future for another job.

The quality of the work was good. Their finished product was good. They were pretty quick in coming out to do the job. The front man named David Baker was personable and easy to deal with. I rate them high overall and will use them again in the future.

We contacted him. He responded right away. He came to our house on our schedule, which involved a lot of weekends and evenings. With a couple of weeks we had totally new floors. He returned a few times with his craftsmen to tweak little things with the vinyl floor to make sure it laid correctly. And, in the end, it was perfect. No complaints at all.

I called several times to request an estimate for work. Each time I was promised that the estimate would be provided shortly and each time I was let down with a different excuse. After five phone calls, I was promised one last time. Nothing was delivered. I've given up.

Received several estimates for refinishing floors in 3 rooms. IFC, David Baker, was the only one that suggested we could repair 2 floors that had areas where walls had been removed, plus could add missing molding and quarter round as floors had previously been carpeted. David tested the floors to find right type of wood for floor boards and searched to find molding to match original (old home) wood. The workmen were very professional, always arrived on time and cleaned up afterwards. David would come as needed and was very responsive to our calls. The finished floors look great ? the new sections fit in very well with the old flooring. Since the floors were very old, an extra coat was needed and at no extra cost . David wanted us to be happy with the floors which we were. We are now looking at the living room and will certainly call David.
