Description of Work: Our house's living room containing the Christmas tree and our daughter's bedroom lost power right before Christmas so I got Kostantino from Angie's List and he came out the next day to troubleshoot the problem. Unfortunately, my worst fear was realized that there was a short caused by wires leading to lamp posts in the garden. With darkness and cold fast approaching, Kostantino had to prioritize by removing the outside lights off the circuit in order to restore power to the living room and my daughter's bedroom first. After the Christmas holiday, he came back and finish the outside work restoring power to our outside lights. | |I found Kostantino's response to be very fast and his work very professional and will call on his service again in the future.

Description of Work: I needed an outdoor double gang outlet installed with a cover. Although they were busy with larger projects they came out to install my outlet as promised. It was bitterly cold, but Eddie was cheerful and worked quickly. I would wholeheartedly recommend this company.

Description of Work: Second time calling Kosta for work. First time was to upgrade my breaker box and to being house up to $200 amps. He did an "A" job then...and his employee did an "A" job to diagnose and fix an issue with a box. I have upcoming work including adding new circuits...nice to know I have a great electrician.

Description of Work: They were able to diagnose why my double oven was not working immediately and saved me from buying a new oven. They pinpointed that a breaker was faulty. They also noticed that there were a couple of things that were not up to code, which was great since my house was scheduled to be inspected. they made the repairs at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend them.

He returns phone calls immediately, his prices have been fair, and we have always been more than satisfied with his performance. He is professional in every manner of the word, and will always provide us with clear details, along with written agreements for his services. I consider Kostantino to be a top class electrician, and trust him, without reservation, to provide us with a "safety first" level of service. He has performed major electrical changes/additions involved in installing a new kitchen, including rewiring of the entire lower level of our home, electrical preparation for installation of major electrical appliances, rewiring of home (and permits) to increase electrical capacity, including installation of a second electrical box. His work is always passed code inspection. He is agreeable to performing very large projects, to smaller electrical problems (installing a ceiling fixture). I highly recommend Kostantino Electric, and would not consider using anyone else to deal with our electrical needs
Description of Work: We have used the services of Kostantino Electical for the past 5 years for various electrical projects that varied from a major home renovation, to most recently, (Jan 2011) for minor electrical projects that involved changing some lighting switches/additions to the interior lower rooms of the house. We also consulted him again, a few weeks later ( February 2011), following damage incurred following last winter's heavy snowfall. At that time we were looking to add gutter warmers to the exterior of our home to prevent ice dam build-up, which had resulted in major interior damage. Kostantino's estimate for the service was well within a fair price and he recommended that the installation be performed after the winter, during the warmer months. Unfortunately, we needed to delay the installation of the gutter warmers, pending resolution of other issues which took priority last summer (grateful for the current warm winter).

+ -1 moreTo me the ideal contractor experience goes as follows: The contractor returns your phone call promptly, shows up when promised to give you an estimate which is fair, shows up when promised to perform the work which goes as planned without interruption and without excuses. That describes our 3 experiences using Kostantino Electric. On top of all that he is a really nice guy.
Description of Work: Replaced fixtures, replaced attic and garage wiring that was not up to code, rewired grounding wiring. Also had done work for our GC during a major remodel 4 years ago.
