Installation itself took multiple visits, and intervention by a supervisor. Often, it took days to hear from them whether it was working properly. They have never been able to get the alarm system to connect to their monitoring system via internet as it should (there is backup connection via phone, so it is still being monitored). Also, I pay extra for "Total Connect," which should allow me to connect via internet (including from my iPhone) to turn alarm on or off, or do other things normally done from the keypad on site. It has never worked consistently. I follow their trouble-shooting steps (dealing with each problem) and then often have to send 3-4 emails and call several times to try to get them to let me know whether those steps have helped.
Description of Work: Upgraded alarm system, installed several components. Provide ongoing monitoring and internet-based connection ("Total Connect").

SOMETHING YOU HAVE TO DO IT. I THINK THEY'RE AVERAGE. I THINK ALL OF THOSE COMPANIES ARE A LITTLE BIT OF A RIP OFF, BUT WE WANT AN ALARM COMPANY. THEIR SERVICE IS AWFUL. THE REPAIR PEOPLE ARE AWFUL. I MEAN THEY COME, AND THEY DON'T REALLY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. THEY CHARGE YOU BY THE HOUR, AND IT'S LIKE FINDING A NEEDLE IN A HAYSTACK TO FIND THE PROBLEM.
Description of Work: IT IS $30 PER MONTH. WE HAVE AN ALARM SYSTEM SO THEY DO MONITORING AND WHAT NOT.
