DANKO PAINTING & POWER WASHING

BEWARE! Dan is a crook. He told us that he was in prison for 9 yrs for a robbery he committed, and that he had turned his life around. We believe that people can change, and gave Dan a chance with a small deck painting job. He did a good job with the deck, so when we bought our new house, we gave him a shot at painting the inside. That’s when we started to realize that maybe we were being fooled. He referred us a friend who does flooring. His friend never showed up to the job, instead had someone else come in to do the floors, and the quality of work was very poor. We brought up our concerns with the floor and were basically told that was as good as it was going to get. We had to hire someone else to come redo the floors. When we refused to pay the balance to Dan’s friend, we were threatened. The painting portion of the job was three weeks behind schedule, and the painting was very poorly done. When we brought up our concerns Dan assured us that he would complete the job to satisfaction. Three weeks in to the job which was only supposed to take one week, we paid Dan the balance because we felt sorry for him. Once we paid him he never completed the job. During week one everything was looking good, and because we had used him before, we referred him to a friend who needed some work done. The friend paid a $2,000 deposit, and Dan never came to finish that job either. So now I looked bad to my friend. But the cherry on top is Dan is now claiming he injured himself at our house, and trying to sue us. Please don’t put yourself through what I have experienced. Stay far away.

THEY WERE COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL. THEY LEFT MARKS ON SIDE OF MY HOUSE AND DECK RAILINGS BY DRAGGING THE HOSE CONNECTORS ACROSS THE WOOD. I EVEN TOLD THEM ABOUT THESE PROBLEMS, BUT THEY DIDN'T CHANGE ANYTHING.
