As an certified appraiser with over 25 years of experience in residential real estate appraisals, I specialize in the valuations of residential properties for estate settlements, divorce situations, tax appeals, bankruptcy, foreclosure and much more. I hold a residential license and serve the Fairfield, New Haven, Middlesex and Litchfield counties. I also do consulting with regard to renovations and housing construction. We had a major disagreement on the overall value of my home. I strongly believe Joe Anania undervalued my property by at least $100,000. There are a couple of COSMETIC things that need to be corrected. Instead of justifiably reducing the value of my home ,by a few thousand dollars to fix these cosmetic areas, Joe reduced it by over $100,000. Needless to say, I am a very unhappy customer.

For a very reasonable rate Joe came to our house and reviewed potential renovation projects to our home. He clearly defined which projects will provide the most value and he also gave us tips on how to "spruce" some areas without major investments. Following our meeting Joe gave us a write up on his recommendations and he was prompt with all follow up email questions.
