From the moment I called Cesar for a quote I knew I found the type of business person I wanted to deal with. Others I called gave me a quick price & brushed me off. Cesar took the the time to ask questions and answered any I had in great detail. Phone calls were returned promptly, an appointment was easily scheduled and they were on time for the appointment. I was AMAZED at how the room looked when they were done. While I knew there was a possibility all the stains might not come out - I was pleasantly surprised to see they were removed & the whole rug brightened. It's like having a brand new carpet. I am so thoroughly impressed with Cesar and the quality of his work that I've already told 4 people about him just today! He is running a family business with his brother and it shows that he takes pride in his work. His price was markedly less than the others I called & I would qualify the results as superior!

I'm in transition from tenants in my rental property. The carpets needed a good cleaning. I had searched the web for different cleaners in the area. Most seemed cheaper but when I read reviews posted I kept seeing a reoccurring theme of upselling and add-ons. Not to mention that many seemed to not be as happy with the outcome. I came across the website of All Purpose Steamers and was impressed with different facets of information they provided on the website. The fact that I actually got to see a before & after picture of carpet that looked just like mine was a big plus. I decided to check Angie's List and low and behold there was a review of them on there. It was so good that my next step was picking up the phone. I called and spoke to Victor. He was a solid guy from the get-go. I told him exactly what I needed and he gave me the upfront price. No haggling, no gimmicks, no upselling. His price included the stain cleaning, steam cleaning and the deodorizer and sanitizer . Those are usually add-ons with other companies. We arranged a time that was good for me and I met him there on Friday morning. I got a call from Cesar 15 minutes before to let me know they were on there way. They showed up right on time. Their truck is pretty impressive. The system is all confined into their V8 engine van. No lugging heavy equipment in and out of my house. No worries for water being spilled etc. The came in and did a walk through. Pre-treated all the stains and began to spray down the carpets with the soap solution. (All eco-friendly, too). While Cesar was upstairs getting started, Victor took the time to give me a tutorial on stain removal and carpet cleaning in order to maintain the carpet quality between cleanings. The whole process was completed in an hour and fifteen minutes. Drying time was assessed at between 4 & 6 hours. Both Victor and Cesar (brothers) were extremely professional, courteous and fun to talk with. I was at ease the moment we met. They had me to a walk through after they finished and I was shocked and amazed ! Spots I thought would never come up looked brand new. I went back to the house to close all the windows Friday evening and the carpets were dry. I took my daughter with me and her jaw dropped when she looked around. Now she wants to move in . . . she'll need to wait a few years ! In closing, if you are looking for a quality outfit with no gimmicks or add-ons and you are interested in getting a deep deep cleaning for your carpets then ALL PURPOSE STEAMERS are your guys.

I'm moving into a new apartment that has wall to wall carpet throughout the living and bedroom areas. I wanted the place to be clean and free of dust etc before I moved in, so I did some research on carpet cleaning. There weren't many useful reviews on Angie's List, but I knew that I'd rather go with an honest local business than one of the big chains. I found All Purpose Steamers through Google. So, I called and set up a Saturday appointment with Victor, the owner. He was very honest and direct about the cost of the service, how long it would take, what was included for the price, and what factors would cost more or less. He made a point to tell me that he's not the cheapest service on the block and he prefers to charge a fair rate for an all inclusive service. I appreciate that. I told him that the apartment was all on one level, not terribly dirty, and he wouldn't have to move any furniture. He dropped the quote a modest amount. He also mentioned that while they were there they could do more services for a significantly discounted rate, but he wasn't pushy about it. When Vic arrived he looked the place over, agreed to the previous quote, and got to work. It took roughly an hour. He also steam cleaned the front seat of my car for only $10 more, which is a steal compared to what a car detailer would charge. After he finished, the carpet was noticeably cleaner. One obvious stain, which looked like rust or a red liquid, is now barely visible. Vic also pointed out a different stain that I had not noticed. Again, the stain is barely visible after cleaning. He wanted to make sure I told my landlord about these spots so I don't lose my security deposit when I move out. He also took the time to explain that he spent several minutes trying to lift the furniture imprints on my carpet, but the weight of the furniture may have permanently compressed the carpet fibers in those spots. The only negative thing I can say is that the contractor arrived 10-15 minutes late. Apparently the college student that was supposed to help out on this job never showed up, which caused Vic to run late. To me this is not a big deal. He did the job by himself and finished in a timely manner. In the end I am extremely satisfied with the job APS did. I don't know much about carpets or steam cleaning, but I felt very comfortable with the honesty and knowledge of this contractor. I highly recommend them.
