I will say that they did the job with replacing the outlets and everything was OK. As far as I could tell, there is nothing wrong with the work they did. I was more disappointed with the interactions that I had with them. I didn't feel like they were respectful of the fact that I know nothing about electrical work (which is why we hired someone!) and when we asked questions or pointed out issues that we had with the switches, they responded like we were bothering them. We pointed out a light outside our front door that is temperamental - maybe loose wiring?.. and they seemed to think it was no big deal. Obviously they did nothing to remedy the situation, but it still doesn't always work. I can understand if they had other jobs and had to come back to look at it, but they should at least tell me that and not blow it off. I have never had electrical work done, so I cannot truly comment on the price for service provided, but it seemed fair.

I think the price was okay; it wasn’t exorbitant but it wasn’t a great deal either. Our interaction was good and they came the next day after I called. I was pretty pleased with them. We had used them before and they are professional, they do a good job, and they don’t leave a mess.

The guys that came out were very nice and courteous. The quote that they gave was based on what job they were doing rather than per hour charges. They have the standard price for everything that they do.

I knew in advance that they were not going to charge by the hour, but they were going to charge by the job. They said that any other electrician would have come out and said they needed a new meter. There was only one electrician here, and he was only here for less than an hour, but I shouldn't have been charged $200 for less than an hour's work. You don't expect it to cost three times what it should cost. I have no complaint about the work, the complaint is about the charge.

This is the fourth time I have this company to do some electrical work (Note: until last month the name of the company was Hart Electric) and each time I am extremely impressed and satisfied. They make appointments in a very timely manner and show up on time. The electricians all wear little booties over their shoes when they get into the house (as not to track dirt in). I would never have anyone else do electrical work in my house!
