Description of Work: This was done over 1 yr ago and there were multiple issues with the home inspection. The inspector showed up on time but started the inspection without us. The site stated that at the end of the inspection a printed report would be given. There was no report given on site after the inspection. It was emailed (only- per the company) and we had to pay the cost of printing it out. Multiple items were left blank or not filled out completely on the final report (ex. 3 bathrooms but only 1 bathroom section completed). There were obvious issues with the irrigation around the perimeter of the house that were not addressed at all in the report. I did report this to Pillar to Post corporate office with no reply and said to address it to the inspector himself (which we did ask for a refund, none given). As I said, there were multiple issues, these are some of the minor ones. But as a potential home buyer I would not pay this amount again and realized after the fact that this is not a licensed profession and the inspectors are not responsible for all aspects of a home (ex.they may or may not be electricians, so expertise is limited to what they may know). There really is no recourse if things were not identified during the inspection that should have been obvious. Due to this fact, we lost the ability to ask for additional accommodations and/or money back at closing regarding issues that were not identified in the initial inspection done by Pillar to Post.
