HPI home inspection honestly was a complete joke. When we got to the house the home inspector said he already looked at the roof and said were good and wanted to move on to the inside of the house. Didn't even look at anything on the roof with us or on the outside. We almost had to force him to look at the outside of the house. When looking at the outside of the house the home inspector seemed very lazy at what he was doing. There was a chimney latch that he said he couldn't open and I walked over and simply tapped the latch to the chimney with my hand and it opened. This type of experience continued throughout the house. Yes, this guy knew about homes and inspections but honestly my dad (who was there) knew more than the actual home inspector did. The home inspector wanted to rush us through our home inspection and did not seem like he even wanted to really look in the nooks and crannies where things matter most. he simply pointed out obvious things about the house. I would definitely not recommend him, the guy was completely a joke, and do not be glamoured by his nice binder he gives you. Definitely would not recommend. If I could give this rating a 0 star I would.

Starting to finishing, I was extremely pleased with Michael. His customer service is also top notch. If you need an inspector, don't waste your time. HPI is the one you need.

Mike from HPI explain everything he was doing throughout the entire home inspection. It was a challenge to inspect the hold house do to the 1 1/2 ft snow, but he made work.
