Did great work and solved another problem for me by using antimildew shingles to get rid of moss, lichen and other things growing of the North side.

Roy came to do the inspection right on time. He was very friendly and professional. He was honest and let me know how everything look and when I should consider having the roof replaced. I would definitely do business with them again.

They did respond quickly. They did the inspection and told me there really wasn't much that needed to be done but did suggest a couple of things. They came by and did it pretty quickly. I certainly can't judge the quality. I haven't been up on my roof. I just took them on face value but they were certainly responsive and quick. They didn't push it like you have to have it done but I went ahead and did that anyway. If I had a problem with my roof, they would be the first ones I would call.

I was so impressed with Hazardville Roofing. They were very professional from our first contact. I waited more than a month for a promised estimate from another roofer. Called another and he never returned my call. A friend told me he had heard folks talking about Hazardville Roofing at the Senior Center and they seemed very satisfied., I called Hazardville Roofing and they returned my call the same day. They made an appointment to come give an assessment and were very prompt - came at the appointed time and gave me a price immediately. The contract and supplies were explained to me in detail. They told me it would be about 3 weeks to start, but called me 10 days later to say they would be here the next morning at 7 a.m. They arrived just prior to 7 a.m. and the dumpster was delivered shortly after that. When their crew arrived shortly thereafter, they never stopped working until the job was done. They dropped a 'curtain' of sorts that encased my house so the siding, windows, bushes, etc. would not be damaged by falling debris when they were taking off the old roofing. Some of the original plywood was rotted and they removed it and replaced it with new. As their contract promised, they cleaned up everything that had dropped from the roof, Barring a catastrophe in the future, I should never need another roof. I will recommend Hazardville Roofing to anyone who is in need of a roof. I also gave their name to my carpenter - who had recommended the two roofers who did not show.

As advertised, it was a roofing inspection about possible need for repairs. There were none recommended, but we asked for an estimate and he provided it.

Everything went great, Eric and his co-worker did excellent job in both removing the old shingles and installing the new shingles with underlayment and new flashing. There was no mess what so ever made during the install. I would highly recommend Hazardville Roofing Company for fair price and excellent workmanship!

A man from the company came and inspected the roof and did a few little things. I was particularly interested in getting a professional opinion on the condition and the roof was not too young. It was an older roof so I was a little concerned about it and so he did give me the opinion that it was in good shape but old. So, that was fine. Since he did not really do any extensive work, it is a little bit hard to evaluate him but the little things that he did, he seemed to be very competent. He looked around and did what he thought needed to be done. So, I do not have any way of judging any big job or any quality from that standpoint. I guess I would use them again in the future. If I had to have a roof done, I would certainly ask them to give me a quote.

Hazardville roofing sub contracted out the work but that was no problems. It took eight roofers to remove 2200 sq. ft. of roofing shingles and install certainteed shingles. This was all done in a matter of eight hours truly amazing the crew worked very hard in the middle of Aug 2011 on a very hot humid day. The workmanship was top notch and was inspected by the town building inspector afterward and their work was approved! The clean up was perfect not a nail or a shingle was left behind. Their pricing beat two previous contractors one from Home Depot by several thousands of dollars. Would highly recommend this company for your next new roof.

I cannot afford a new roof at this time so I was concerned. Hazardville Roofing came to the house within an hour, provided me a temporary option that would last a couple years but said I would need a new roof by that time. They were back the next day right on time. The leak is gone and I will be using Hazardville Roofing for the new roof because I was given an option for a temporary manageable fix until I can afford the new roof. I wasn't pressured into the new roof right away which is what I feared. I am most grateful to Hazardville Roofing and Angie's List.

It went well. They came out and gave me a quote. They came out and took a look at the roof and gave me a quote. That being said, the quote they gave was significantly higher than any of the other quotes I received. Most of the competitive quotes were from $8000 to $9500. They responded very quickly. I think that I called on a Monday and I had a quote within 2 days. They were the quickest as far as turnaround time. The quote was very thorough. They laid out all the details, gave all the details for insurance.

We called Hazardville Roofing because we noticed a wet spot on the garage roof. They came out within a day to take a look at the roof. Once it was determined we needed to replace our 21 year old roof, they put a tarp over the garage in case it rained before they were able to begin the job. They came out a few days later and finished in 2 days. One of the owners, Eric, actually came to our house to drop off a sample board of all the shingle colors.The roofers were on time, professional and cleaned up any mess that was made. They even cleaned our gutters. We are very pleased with the job that they did. The roof looks great and we feel that we were charged a fair price. We would highly recommend this company.

My front roof had missing shingles as a result of storm damage. I called for an estimate and they responded the next day. As soon as I gave them the go ahead, they scheduled the work for a projected period of good weather the next week. They showed up on time, completed the work in a professional manner and cleaned up extremely well.

Entire project was complete in one day. No issues, workers were polite and tidy.

We had some gutters that were broken and separating from the roof. Hazardville Roofing Co. was efficient, courteous, and reasonable. The gutters have held up well in the year since the work was done. Would definitely recommend and use again.

I can't tell you how pleased I am with the beautiful (Certainteed) roof that Hazardville Roofing installed on my house. We had nothing but compliments from neighbors and friends. The value of our home has greatly increased. Eric came all the way down to Monroe with the roofing samples, was patient and helpful when we were making our selection. We did not feel rushed or pressured. The whole job was done quickly, professionally and neatly in one day. There wasn't a nail or shingle left in the yard. The roofers were mindful of our landscaping and exterior surfaces. When they found that some plywood had to be replaced, they were efficient and fair. There were no surprise 'costs' like so many other contractors who worked on our house. We highly recommend Hazardville Roofing for their professionalism and caring service. It was well worth the search to go out of our locale to find them.

I was very satisfied with Hazardville Roofing and would definitely use them again and recommend them. They showed up on time, did the job as quoted. Their estimate was not the cheapest, but I chose them for their promptness and thoroughness.

I have used them on different occasions (roof and gutters), a few times over the past 20 or so years. Always quick to respond and do good work.

They sent a car with 8 or 10 people that quickly jumped on ladders and shoveled the snow off the roof. They were quick!

I found it difficult to work with this gentlemen because I felt he did not respect women. I had to have him come back because in the interim of contacting him, I contacted another company as he had said to send him the check and he would come out and do the job. Well he did the job before I sent him the check which I wasn't aware of. This other company came out and said there were broken shingles on the roof. Nobody had mentioned this to me and I had to call Hazardville Roofing back and he didn't' believe what I was saying. He had to go up on the ladder to check himself, which he almost refused to do. He wasn't sure about the shingles and how they broke, but I told him no one mentioned that I had broken shingles. He did agree to follow through and fix the shingles. I do respect his work but find him difficult to work with. He was prompt with doing the job and with repairing the job but I did have to stand firm. I do feel he does quality work but I would not use him again because of my experience with him.

I requested an estimate regarding a 'soft spot' the chimney sweep found on my roof. Eric called back quickly and arranged to come take a look. He was prompt, polite, and very professional in dealing with me. He explained all of my options, from a patch of the soft spot to the full replacement of the roof. He explained and showed me evidence of the age of the roof and why it will need to be replaced within the next year (I have only been in the house 10 years, with this roof). I appreciated the fact he talked me through all of his assessment, as well as him being honest and telling me he thought I could wait until spring (financial considerations) to replace the roof. He provided a written estimate, proof of insurance, and references to help me make my decision. He did not try to sell me anything I don't need or convince me to do anything right away. Eric answered all of my questions, offered his own experience, and helped me come to my own conclusions. Those conclusions include the fact I will definitely be working with Hazardville Roofing in the spring to make these repairs!

This company was recommended by a family member. We were reluctant to call since they were over an hour away, but they cme within a couple of days and gave us a full estimate with cost breakdown to include possible unseen repairs. Work was done on the day scheduled, completed in one day, dumpster and all debris cleaned up. A gutter was dislodged during the work and we were given a $200 credit towards its replacement which we have not yet addressed.

We are very pleased. They were a little slow to respond at first because of the volume of work after the storm. Once they got out here, they did a great job and came in right on budget.

I called Wed. July 14th for quote which he gave me over the phone and said they were doing gutters next day in my area. Gave him the okay to do the job. When I came home from work on Thursday, July 15th job was done. Very neat, would never know they had been there if not for noticing new gutters and down spouts. Bill arrived Saturday's mail and was able to pay via phone by American Express. Very easy, no hassle experience.
