Nutmeg Stairs & Cabinets

John's team did an amazing job turning our 1970s kitchen into the functional, stylish, open kitchen I was dreaming about. I was completely impressed with their ability to take what I had drawn up and turn it into a reality -- and one better than I had envisioned. I was open about my budget and they were happy to help me get what I wanted for the price I could afford. I really can't say enough about this company and I look forward to hiring them again. Wonderful. From start to finish, the staff was responsive and professional. We had new doors and drawers made, as will as panels to match that would cover the old wood. We did not want to rip out the original cabinets, so Nutmeg renewed them with new materials inside and out. The original skeleton of the cabinets as used as a base to create the new look. In addition, Nutmeg contracted for all the electrical, plumbing, and countertop and tile installation. We were very impressed with all the service people sent to our home. We are so pleased that now we will plan to have Nutmeg do the dame for our bathrooms. Highly recommended

Nutmeg Stairs and amp; Cabinets are highly professional, they have a beautiful shop, they were prompt, and they did everything right but it was more money than we wanted to spend. They had something in writing and they are highly respected in this area.

We initially used them on the advice of an architect. Kitchen: all new cabinets, moved and installed new window, skylight, electrical, plumbing, Corian, tiling, and installed new appliances. Their price was much better than the more local kitchen contractors we contacted, and the experience was so good that we contracted with them to renovate our master bath: installed windows, cabinets, air jet tub, new shower, lighting and tiling (my brother did the plumbing). Again, we had them re-configure our entertainment center and you'd never know that it was changed. I can't say enough about Nutmeg Stairs and Cabinets, and will use them whenever the need arises. Recommended without hesitation.

After a few initial consultations with John for kitchen layout and material selection, I received a detailed schedule of the remodeling timeline. This was extremely helpful for scheduling my time available. In fact Nutmeg Stair started a day early.The schedule was right on, the electrician, sheetrocker and plumber all showed up when scheduled. All materials arrived on time.It was a very well organized operation. I had no problem with any of the tradesman being at my home when I was not there; very trustworthy. This is a 70 year old house and they all worked well with the sloping walls and out of square corners. All very experienced craftsman. The attention to detail when installing the cabinets and installing the crown molding was exceptional. I am very pleased with the finished kitchen.I would recommended Nutmeg Stair to anyone considering a kitchen redo.
