Keith listened to all of our concerns and past problems with our aging roof and problems due to the angles of our roof and water damage. Keith was very forthcoming about the amount of work needed to address all of our issues. He was extremely good at keeping us updated about what was happening, when it was happening and what we could expect with our project. He was also flexible with us in terms of doing the job. For example, he worked around our vacation plans. All of his workers were extremely professional. They arrived promptly at 7 a.m. and worked well into late afternoon and sometimes into the early evening depending on the particular part of the project. But they never failed to clean up our yard from any debris at the end of the work day, no matter what time they finished for the day. Any small problems that occurred were always acknowledged and remedied by Keith. We had confidence in him because of the way he listened to our concerns, and it was well deserved. We are extremely happy with our beautiful new roof!

Keith and his crew did a fantastic job. We have a colonial with breezeway and attached two-car garage. The roof had either three or two layers of old shingles. Keith arrived at 7 a.m. and worked until 6 p.m. The old roof was removed, a couple of pieces of plywood installed, the new roof installed, and a complete cleanup done. Keith also installed a dryer box for the roof. Even the dumpster was gone by the time we woke us the next morning. The next day, my wife was working outside and told me she had two different people in the neighborhood stopped by to remark they were very impressed and had never seen a roof completed so quickly. Without question, I would highly recommend Keith Gauvin Carpentry and Roofing.

Keith provided an estimate with all services detailed, kept in touch periodically until I was ready to go ahead with project, did the whole roof job in one day, cleaned all roofing debris up around outside of house, checked back after to make sure there were no problems and that I received the manufacturer's warranty, and made sure the town's final inspection was performed. Efficient and professional.

Keith Gauvin did an estimate within 48 hours of my initial call which worked out perfect for me. He showed up on time and took the time to answer all questions I had and made sure I understood my options. His pricing was right in the middle of 5 total bids I got- but he was the most responsive and most straight-forward out of everyone. He made me feel like I was an important customer, even though it wasn't that big of a job. His crew showed up on time, they were all very nice, very polite and got down to business as soon as they arrived. I was very impressed with their efficiency and their cleanliness- they made sure tarps were put in place as they moved around the house and someone was cleaning debris up the entire time they were on the job- being very thorough checking for any nails, etc. My yard actually looked cleaner after they were done!! I highly recommend Keith and his crew to anyone that wants high quality work done for a reasonable price. I will definitely use him again for future projects.

They did a fantastic job. The repair was completed in one day. The sill was repaired and a new door was installed. He and his crew were done in one day. I was completely satisfied with the work and asked for his help again on later jobs. The were professional, highly competent and reliable.

We were just so impressed with how smooth and painless the whole process was from estimate through completion the actual job. Keith is just great to work with. Keith, John and crew arrived right on time on the day promised and went immediately to work. It was amazing to watch, they are such a hardworking knowledgeable team. Keith kept us informed of progress throughout the day and the job was completed in just one day as Keith predicted. They also left our yard and deck so neat and clean. The roof looks really great, it seems a shame to eventually cover part of it up with solar panels. We also really love our new skylights, such a huge improvement. The care of our home, attention to detail and finishing touches were especially appreciated.

Excellent. Keith did everything he said he would do, when he said he would do it. This was a great experience from start to finish, beginning with the initial interview/review. Very thorough pre-installation instructions and efficient work. Quality work, quality materials including all materials under the shingles. We interviewed three contractors, Keith was very professional and knowledgeable and pricing was competitive. We are so happy we chose Keith for the job and love our roof. Neighbors stopped by and commented how good it looks and how well the crew worked. Loved the fact that Keith made an appointment to do the final inspection and walk around. We also appreciated how the crew cleaned up after each day. Finally, we should mention, this was a large roof with dormers, two fireplaces, attic fan and vents fan. Can't say enough. We highly recommend Keith's services and would definitely work with him again in the future.

It went extremely well. I have a mutlilevel house and the work was done in less than a day. The house is 2100 sq. feet. The building inspector came and said that the job was excellent and this fellow certainly knew what he was doing. I would recommend them to any one needing a new roof.

Very well. His presentation was complete and concise and he did not pressure us to commit that day. Communication throughout was excellent. Two layers of shingles were off and new shingles were on in one day and we have a big roof. He found a problem with the facing behind the gutters on one side of the house which was repaired another day and the gutters went up a third day. So the roof was up on a Tuesday and we were done Friday with the entire job. It looks great.

It was smooth, fast, clean and professional. This is the 2nd time we have had Keith do work for us and we are never disappointed.

My house is not your average house {1840} and I am not your average customer, with that said Keith and his crew did a GREAT job on my roofs. I have been in the trades many many years so i had very high expectations of the quality of work i was looking for. Keith was my eighth proposal (the first seven seemed to want to cut corners and/or price gouge) and after initially talking to Keith about his proposal and the proposed work it was very evident Keith was going to do a good job at a fair price. Keith's crew stripped all the roofs back down to the sheathing, removing all the old layers of roofing. The flat roofs had four layers!!!!! They then installed 6' of ice and water on all eaves and in the valleys followed by a synthetic underlayment on the remainder of the roof. They also removed the lower courses of siding and installed ice and water 2' up the wall at all roof/wall intersections. New drip edge, starter strips, step flashing, vent pipe boots and onto the architectual shingles, they installed ridge vent on the ridge and cap shingles on the ridge. New lead chimney flashing. The flat roofs were a different challenge, there was a few hiccups rotten and/or missing sheathing etc. But Keith was very very fair with the change orders. New epdm rubber going 2' up the walls and on the entire flat roofs. The other low slope roof got a two part asphalt roll roof system that is the same exact color as the architectual shingles. End result i get a full GAF transferable warranty, a Five year workmanship warranty from Keith himself and most importantly a beautiful and leak free roof. I would definitely hire Keith again and i will be recommending him to anyone who needs a roof.

Excellent experience. Keith was extremely responsive, explained the process clearly, and quoted a reasonable price. His crew came when they were scheduled, completed the job in 1 day and left no mess behind at all. I appreciated Keith sending me some pictures as the work progressed since I was out of town when it was being done. I am very happy with the end result, and will definitely consider Keith for other work at my home.

Keith was great to work with, he and his crew were very responsive and very professional. After the job they collected just about every single nail that had fallen off the roof, which was a huge concern with the kiddos running around.

Keith and his crew came on a Saturday, punctually, and stripped our badly worn roof starting at am. By pm the same day, the guys were picking up, and left the yard immaculate. Crew returned Monday to removed old decking and redo it, incorporating some changes. Again, done in one day, and yard cleaned up afterwards. Follow up by Keith ensured we were happy with everything. Our old roof failed about halfway through its 30 year warranty, and we recouped some money from a class action suit. Keith was very patient while the other shingle maker took their time paying us, and he was extremely helpful getting me information I needed to file the claim. Lastly, I want to mention that in 1995, Keith and his father roofed our previous house- we live across the street from it, and the roof still looks great and is problem free. I can't recommend Keith Gauvin highly enough.

Keith was very easy to work with from start to to finish! He responded quickly to our initial inquiry for a quote and setup a time to make the repair as soon as the weather was warm enough. Keith and his team were professional, punctual, quick, efficient and very clean- they did a great job. Keith was in constant communication letting us know when the roofing would be delivered, the dumpster delivered, how long the job would take, and checked in on his crew to make sure everything was being done to our satisfaction.
