Very competitive pricing technician started work on the schedule day after I left for work and by the time I came home he was still at it for anj hour or two. Completed the entire job in one day. New belt driven motors are much quieter than chain drive Motors. Garage doors look great. Overall very good service and friendly knowledgeable technicians.

+ -1 morePurchased a wireless keypad installation, tuneup and nylon roller replacement (Angie's List deal) and they sold me on the idea of getting a new garage door opener because our previous opener was 20 years old. Wound up being more expensive than we anticipated, but overall still affordable for the replacement. Technician was very professional and explained our options in detail. Overall very happy with the service and our garage door is VERY quiet compared to before.

The tech was helpful and honest about the need for tune ups/replacement parts, he fixed minor problems with each door and I got a discount. Would definitely use again.

We appreciate the reduce labor rate but we were hoping to spend less but because we are not on-site we have to trust the integrity of the Angie's List service providers that we enlist. We thought that more of what we had paid for the Big Deal would have been applied to repairs that were actually required.

+ -1 moreThey were on time. They were thorough. They did an inspection. There were some things that needed changing, i.e. rollers, but I was not able to afford them at the time. I will call them again in the future to complete the replacement.
Description of Work: There was a special going on and I took advantage of it. It was for a keypad on the outside of my garage. The tech found a few things wrong and pointed them out to me. He was able to repair the problems. He was a very nice gentleman, and he was very professional. I would use them in the future.

+ -1 moreOne word of caution. The $425 price is only for installation of the opener (motor and chain). It does not include installation of hardware such as the angle irons and springs. There is an exclusion clause in the advertisement on Angie's List for the angle irons but it is silent regarding the springs (I believe). So, instead of $850 total (as I expected), it ended up being $1250. It still seemed like a decent price though.
Description of Work: I purchased one garage door opener installation through Angie's List ($425) and another directly from Atlas at the same price. Atlas removed the old hardware on 1 door and installed all new angle irons, springs, keypad access and provided upgraded motors from what I actually purchased (given that they only had 1 of the advertised model of door opener, not 2).

They were very good about going over all of my options but in the end it would have cost much more money than I anticipated especially since I need two doors.

+ -1 moreThe service itself was perfect. The technician showed up on time and was extremely professional and knowledgeable. The only issue was with the scheduling of the original appointment. I had made an appointment for the week earlier and the technician never showed up. When I called the company I wasn?t listed in their schedule at all. They were courteous and professional and got the problem fixed but I still wasted a couple hours of my time.
Description of Work: Inspect my garage doors and install a keyless entry system. They did some additional tune up on my doors which was awesome.

We had to leave our garage doors open overnight for two nights, and there have been robberies in our neighborhood. Once they came, the service was fine.

After a power outage, a few months later, one door wouldn't close, they came out and replaced the eye sensors. While the tech was there, he changed out metal rollers and the doors are much quieter opening and closing. A few weeks later, after another power outage, the other door wouldn't stay closed. I called to schedule a service call and Heidi was great to work with. She had someone out the next morning. The tech called when he was on his way and had the system running in minutes. They're a great outfit to work with and they'll be the company I call anytime I need doors.
Description of Work: Installed motors on two doors, came back a couple of months later for a repair after a power outage.

The only thing, and there are few contractors who don't do this: as a contractor new to our property, s/he should never just drive in our driveway all the way down to our garage. Instead someone someone new should come to the front door, greet you re: the job and confirm where s/he can park.
Description of Work: Gave a survey and inspected rollers of garage door for $99.00. He replaced rollers, motors, installed manual emergency door opener on outside of door, replaced one remote control. He also synchronized the remote controls for a second door.
