Description of Work: I cannot say enough positive things about this experience. My garage door opener stopped working, so I called Atlas Overhead Doors after reading their positive reviews online. Heidi, the person I spoke with on the phone, gave me a window on the SAME DAY that someone would be at my home to make the repair. James arrived within that window, immediately diagnosed the problem, provided a quote, and even gave me an upgrade on the motor since he was out of the older model that my door opener had been using. Not only is the door fixed, it is faster and much quieter than it was before. And Heidi followed up with an email to ensure that everything went well. She even sent me an offer (via snail mail) for a free roadside kit that I qualified for because of the motor that was installed. This combination of high quality service and outstanding customer care is really rare today. Notice to all other companies: This is how you do it.

Description of Work: The service man ended up going to my neighbors house by accident, tried to get into the house and garage, scared the bejeesus out of my neighbor and left without a note. My neighbor told me about it that night and I notified Atlas. | |He got to my house on time (must have been early to my neighbors) and got to work. They were supposed to replace the rails and springs, but due to the low head height they had to reuse the existing ones. One of the door sections was dented out of the box and the service man came back with a replacement a few days later. | |The garage doors look great and work perfectly. I am a little upset that they had to re-use most of my existing stuff, but they did give me an outside keypad to make up for it. I have no idea if it was a fair trade, but wasn't very happy not getting what I was promised originally.

Description of Work: The deal was for a tuneup including balancing and lubrication for $69. The rep/tech took 10 minutes to look at the door and indicated I needed new rollers (not included). The parts price was $99 and then I was charged ~$80 for labor. I was in the middle of a meeting at home on the phone and couldn't really scrutinize. But I was not happy when it took the tech 20 minutes to install, since I paid $70+$80 for labor + parts and there were subsequent deals offered that included replacement rollersurgery for less.
