custom cabinets
+ -1 moreWe dealt with the owner. The company has been in his family for many years. We picked out the style and we picked out a color and they went through a lot of effort to make sure that we were happy with the color. Even though we picked "white"...there are many shades of white. I wanted mostly drawers and that is what they gave us. Soft close, of course. When the cabinets were being made, we were asked whether we wanted to see them, and we did, and it was a thrill to see the cabinets and the work that was put into them. The two guys who installed the cabinets were very nice and it didn't feel as if we had two strangers in the house whom we couldn't wait to get rid of. They installed the hood for us and created an exhaust system to the outside. It looks and works perfectly. After they were done the owner came over to check whether his guys had done a good job, and, of course, they had. All we could do is tell him what perfect gentlemen his installers had been and how happy we were with our new kitchen. All in all it was a great experience.
Description of Work: They built us a custom kitchen. First we were shown the workshop where it all happens (it's gigantic with all the latest equipment). Then they designed a kitchen to our specifications, incorporating all our wishes, and then some. We were amazed at how fast they built the cabinets. The guys who installed them were very friendly and a pleasure to be around. The kitchen fits perfectly in the space and we are thrilled with it. Yes...it was twice as expensive as the lowest bid we received, but in the end we decided to go with quality and with a custom fit and we never regretted the extra expense.
