Fantastic. Great work and service

To start with, Lou and his team wanted to start our project on Monday, but accommodated our schedule and started on Wednesday. They flew through the demo the first day and laid down new plywood, but ran in to some issues on day 2: When I got home, I found that not nearly the amount of tile was laid as I thought would've been, and more importantly, the grout lines weren't even. I texted Lou around 8:30 pm to tell him about it, he called me back about two minutes later, explaining he'd be joining the team in the morning to come check it out. Upon arrival, it took him about 15 seconds to look at it before he told his guys to rip the whole thing up and start over. They ripped up what was already laid, and laid the rest of the tile for the entire job on Friday, and we couldn't be happier with the results. They came back on Saturday and finished the grouting and baseboards, didn't charge us any extra for coming out on the weekend. So, there was a slight hiccup, but they totally made it right, we would have no reservations about using them again, they're a great bunch of guys.

They got back in touch with me right away and were very professional. However we found someone else that do more of what we needed, so we decided not to go with PerfectView.

We are very satisfied customers. It was a pleasure working with Lou and his crew. Lou offered a number of helpful design suggestions, and we are extremely pleased with the quality of the work. Everyone was very respectful of our time and our privacy throughout the project. There were some bumps in the road and challenges, primarily due to the loss of electricity for over a week, but Lou used a portable generator to keep the work going (and to provide us with some heat from our furnace) and was able to get the work completed in a timely manner.

I really liked him, and he seemed very good. I was imperssed with his recommendations and we would have used him, but we never heard back from him. He gave us the quote but never got back to us.

They're fine. No complaints. The person who comes and does the estimate is not the person who does the work. He is just someone who sells the job.

During a windstorm last winter some of the siding on one side of our house came loose. Since the house is 25 years old we assumed we would not be able to match the existing siding exactly so decided to replace all the siding on that side of the house. We hoped that the person we hired to do the job would be able to find siding that would be close in color to the remainder of the siding on the house. Louis Cook, owner of PerfectView Remodeling, responded very promptly when I phoned and came right out to the house to evaluate the project. He provided a quote which we felt was very reasonable. He was able to find replacement siding that is perfect with the remainder of the house. Prior to the beginning of the job, the young man who was going to do the work stopped by and introduced himself, which I appreciated and felt was very professional. Louis assured me that they'd get the job done before the bad weather set in and he did just that. The job was completed promptly and looks fantastic. We would definitely use PerfectView again for projects at our home and highly recommend the company.

Louis Cook was prompt to give us an estimate on refinishing floors others did not want to attempt. The job was set to begin the Monday after storm Alfred. With no electricity or phone service, Louis drove to our house to talk to us about the job and when it could be done. Don also drove over to keep us informed on a schedule. Work began the following Friday after the electricity returned. The oak flooring was matched but wrong plugs were installed which had to be replaced. Bill did this promptly so the sanding could begin. Don sanded, stained and polyurethaned a difficult uneven kitchen floor. He stained the new wood in the family room to match the existing flooring, sanded, and polyurethaned the entire floor. Only 3 coats of polyurethane were planned, but an extra coat was required and applied the next day. The extra work replacing the plugs and the need for and extra coat of polyurethane was done without delay to make the floor the best it could be and keep the project on schedule. Louis always kept us informed and made sure that we were satisfied. It was a pleasure having Louis and crew do the work. We are very pleased with the work done and love our newly refinished floors.

Unfortunately, when we got the kitchen estimate we had not had our roof looked out from the winter. In the mean time, we had to re-do our roof and so, we cannot go through with our kitchen remodeling now. He was very easy to get a hold of. He came right out within a day of us calling for the estimate and his estimate was definitely affordable. We would have used him but unfortunately the roof thing happened. He was a great person and he talked to both of us as if we were the home owners. It was very easy to understand his estimate. We were going to go through with it but we had someone spot the roof in mid September. We were comparing all the roofing companies on Angie's List and chose them out of the bunch.

The job presently is about two weeks from completion and I will be editing this review when work is completed. But overall it has been a very good experience working with Lou. He is accessible, knowledgeable, easy to work with, hard working, fair in price, willing to listen to the customers ideas and issues and has ideas of his own that he comes back with. His men are also hard working, honest, knowledgeable, and want to do a good job. After a days work, they leave the site clean and picked up. The one issue I had at the beginning is that there was no design print of the garage and entry room to see how it would look before construction began. When I saw how high the framing looked, I became concerned, but Lou assured me that when the area was sided and roofed, it would look different... which it did and matches perfectly with the adjoining new home I live in. My experience with perfect view, so far, has been very positive because he has been there to manage every step of the way and wants to do the job right and also is willing to do extra construction related things that are not part of the actual job.

Saw that Perfect view remodeling got really good reviews on Angie's list, so I called the contractor and arranged to meet to discuss remodeling projects. We set up an first appointment. The contractor had informed me that he might be going away for the weekend, but he would let me know well in advance if he had to cancel. The contractor did not show or call. After an hour of waiting for him to arrive, I actually called him and left a message. I figured he had gone away and just forgot. He called back and was very apologetic and we agreed to reschedule. He arrived at our next appointment on time. However, he proceeded to sit in his truck and have a discussion on his cell phone for a good 15+ minutes while I waited for him to finish. Ok now we finally are inside my house and going through the remodeling projects one by one. He seemed to not really be listening to my ideas. His attitude was condescending and he almost seemed to be engaging in a power struggle with me over what I wanted to do. My teenage step son was present and he also noticed the contractor's pompous attitude. I am a petite woman, so maybe that had something to do with it. The contractor told me he would give me an estimate in about a week. He never did. Again I called him just to see what he came up with and left a message. He never responded, nor did he call to say he did not want the job.

They helped with design work and upgraded some of our choices when it was not necessary. Very knowledgeable about code and meeting inspectors expectations.

They work went great. They were prompt. They kept their word about when they were going to be here and what they were going to do. Their work was excellent.

Louis was amazing. Cleanest, neatest, most precise contractor we've used. On time - from start to finish. Quality is #1!

Everything went very well. They were efficient and called if there would be any sort of delay. They were business-like and easy to get along with.

The experience with PerfectView Remodeling went very well. The staff was very considerate of our home and family, very professional and prompt, and very fair in pricing and sticking to budget. The finished product, our basement, looks absolutely amazing and has exceeded our expectations. It was transformed into nothing but concrete walls and floors, to a full entertainment area, a child playroom, and a room for laundry. The whole operating took just over 3 weeks. We even had a small problem with a door after the job was complete. I called and they came the next day to repair the door - under warranty.
