We were having problems with our toilet flushing. Perfect View Remodeling came over to inspect the flushmate system that we had installed some years ago,that was not working properly. When they inspected the system, pictures were taken to make sure that the system was equal. The office from Perfect View gave me a call and after some research, found out that the system was still under warrantee, therefore it would be replaced with no charge to us. Well I was so pleased that they took the time to do the research that I hired them to make the replacement. It made me feel good to find a company that would go through so much effort to please their customer.I thank Angie's list for that. The plumber was fast and efficient, and was very helpful and polite.

Louis Cook, the general contractor or main contact at Perfectview was the same person I dealt with from start to finish. He presented himself professionally from beginning to end. The architect they worked with was accommodating to my requests and gave me several different scenarios to choose from. Ruth was very helpful in choosing fixtures, cabinetry and the like. The cost estimate provided at the beginning was pretty close to where the final cost came in. However, I did delay the project for about 8 months from my initial meeting with Lou, and the cost went up about 5%. For the most part, all subcontractors were courteous, prompt, and intelligent. There was a delay during the middle of the project that was frustrating. Things couldn't get done until the plumber did what he had to do, and that plumber wasn't available for whatever reason, so nothing seemed to be happening, which was frustrating. The 6-8 week estimate given at the beginning of the project turned into 10-12 weeks. I would suggest to Perfectview that if this situation arises again, they have a stand-by plumber (or whoever is holding up the job) available to step in and pick up where the first person left off. Lou was very accommodating to me. For example, when they demolished the old deck, a hole in the foundation was apparent. Since the deck was gone, rainwater was getting into the cellar through that hole. Lou had that taken care of, and that was NOT in my contract nor was I charged for it. There were other things done as well, little things, that weren't in the contract and I wasn't charged for, and I would like to thank Lou for that. If there were any concerns we had, they were addressed pretty quickly to our satisfaction. The only other suggestion I would have is that Perfectview inform potential customers that if they need to use a credit card to pay for some or all of the work, they be informed of the corresponding surcharge. Overall, we are very pleased with the work done by Perfectview and their subcontractors, and would definitely work with them again. The owner, Louis, was prompt with his responses to my calls to set up the appointment. The technician, TJ, was professional, courteous, and helped resolve a surprise pipe issue we didn't expect. We are very happy with their service.

Everything went great. They came on time, we're professional, and got the job done right. I would use them again. I am going to call them to see if they are interested in giving me a proposal to add a pantry in our kitchen.

The technician said his boss would call and offer advice on how to go forward and has not.

Lou was on time, professional and accommodating, tenants kept changing their availability and Lou worked with them to get the repairs done. After being given the run around by a plumbing company for over a month it was refreshing to have someone come in and just get it done. We didn't have to wait a long time and it was all handled quickly. Only minor gripe is that after the work was done the tenants informed me that the bath taps were leaking. I wish the plumber had noticed and asked if I'd like it repaired under the same call out fee - but I didn't know and it wasn't part of the work that I had discussed with Lou, so I have to give all A's overall. I will use them for any plumbing or remodeling work I need to do in the future.

Louis spent a good half hour tuning up the toilet, all the while explaining the inner-workings of the various parts of the toilet. A nice benefit.

Workers were quick and professional. The job was completed quickly and with quality. I would recommend to anyone looking for remodeling work.

Lou and is team did an excellent job. We started getting estimates from multiple contractors in May, decided to go with Lou in October, started the job a week before Thanksgiving and finished a few days before Christmas (about 5 weeks). Lou wasn't the lowest quote, but he wasn't the highest either. Lou's quote however was the most detailed and we got the sense he worked only with high quality suppliers. This coupled with Lou's easy going personality and patience in helping us come up with a final design were the primary reasons why we selected PerfectView. We just felt we could trust him to deliver and he and his team did. We went through numerous redesigns and spent weeks getting to the final design. All through out this time Lou listened to our wants, suggested ideas, and reworked his drawings and quotes. When we made the decision to proceed, Lou and his team (carpenter, electricians, plumbers, and painters) showed up on time and everyday until the project was done. We were especially impressed by the work done by his master carpenter Ron who solved the problem of uneven floors, reproduced an existing archway perfectly, and unclogged a vent from the microwave to the outside that was plugged up with bird's nests. If you want to take an active role in your remodel, PerfectView should be on your list to talk too. They're definitely on ours.

I cannot say enough good things about perfectview remodeling. I purchased the two hours of plumbing labor with the intention of hiring the company for a routine plumbing matter. Shortly after purchasing, our toilet began leaking beyond repair. I contacted Louis at 7 am on Thursday morning and their plumbers were at our house by 12:30 the same day. They were efficient, explained what they needed to do, and were very diligent about keeping our house clean (which is definitely not an easy feat after all of the snow we've had lately!) They worked quickly and the job was finished within two and a half hours. The price was very reasonable, and we will definitely be using perfectview remodeling in the future. After a terrible experience with another local company, we are definitely very happy to have found Louis and all of the experts at perfectview!

My experience with them did not go well. I wasn't happy with the services I got under the coupon, and I picked someone else to do the remodel. They were supposed to do a sample lay-out for me, and what they did, I could have done myself. It was supposed to be valued at $500, but it wasn't worth that. I could have gotten off the internet what they gave me. It was far too simple for what I wanted. I could have went to a high school drafting class and gotten something better.

They came out and looked at my garbage disposal, advised me to call the company, it was under warranty so they did not have to do any work. I appreciated their professionalism.

I sent PerfectView an email on a Monday afternoon requesting an estimate for a completely new bathroom by the end of the week. Ruth called me within an hour and she looked at my bathroom on Tuesday morning. I had the detailed estimate by EOD Wednesday. Ruth and Louis helped me pick all of the materials so that they blended well from a color perspective etc as I don't have a good eye for decor. Ruth searched the greater Hartford area extensively to find the perfect floor tile. The work was completed on schedule and everyone who contributed was friendly and professional. They put down floor protection to ensure my wood floors weren't scratched.

Louis arrived early but politely waited in his truck until I'd waved him over. Not many contractors are on time, let alone early and considerate. He looked at the points that concerned me and gave an invaluable assessment that there were no burning problems. Since I'd previously had another contractor who'd identified them in a fairly hysterical manner--he wanted to make us nervous in order to drum up business--I was especially appreciative of Louis' patience in explaining things and his frankness about what didn't need to be done. He certainly inspired my confidence and I'll come back to Perfect View Remodeling for our needs in the future.

A couple of years ago the original doors had been replaced; they were external to the door opening. The new door was the same as a pull down garage door that closed on the inside of the sill. this resulted in a seam between the door bottom and the sill. It was just enough to allow water (moisture) to get inside. Lou came and suggested that instead of new doors the sill be modified so that the water would remain outside the shed. A metal insert was installed and the fit was perfect. There have been several significant rains since then and the shed floor remains dry. Charge was the same as original estimate. The two men that did the installation were professional,, friendly, quiet, and cleaned up completely afterwards.

Ruth was very responsive and made a great effort to make the schedule work for us. She called several times to come up a good time for an appointment. After visiting us, she provided a detailed estimation for the whole work. Though we didn't use them this time due to higher cost, we will contact them when other projects come up in the future.

Lou came to our home and said he was interested in several home remodel projects - but he never followed up or provided us with an estimate.

Working was Louis Cook was great. We did most of our communication through email. He would always respond, though sometimes it would take a day or two. The morning of the project everyone arrived on time. They did a great job installing the window, barely marking up the outside siding and there was minimal patching and painting needed inside. We love the window and will definitely consider Perfectview Remodeling for some future projects we've got in mind.

Installation was done professionally and quickly by the team (electrician, plumber, and installer). So far very pleased with the new cooktop and if I ever have any questions/concerns I know Lou and his team have made themselves available at anytime which I greatly appreciate!

All of the work was excellent. Lou was easy to work with. He kept me updated through the whole project so I always knew where things stood. He started work within 2 days of his original estimate and finished the work on time. If/when I have more work to do, I plan to go right back to PerfectView.

I contacted PerfectView through Angie's List and Lou returned my email the next day and we followed up with a phone call. I explained what I needed (installation of a reinforcing beam as we wanted to remove a support wall) and made an appointment for a quote. Lou met my significant other at our house on time for the quote appointment and, unlike some other people we had come quote, actually looked at the attic and basement to properly assess the scope of work needed for installing the beam. A quote was produced in a timely manner and was extremely helpful because it gave a breakdown of the cost of each aspect of the work that was going to be performed. Once reviewed, revised, and agreed upon, a separate contract for services was sent/signed. Work was started on the agreed date and completed within 3 days (note, we did 99% of the demo work so that factored into the speed/cost). My significant other popped in randomly while they were working and the guys were plugging along and very nice to speak with. All the debris from the work was cleaned up/removed when the job was completed. The only areas that I'd suggest a change/improvement is the following - if planning the start of work on a Monday that the Friday prior arrangements are made for entry/key handover/etc. if you are not living in the property. We didn't receive much notice/warning when the contractor team was ready to start and had to scramble to get there. I'd like to note that Lou's quote/cost fell in the middle of the 5 we received, not the least expensive but not the most expensive. Lou and his team were prompt and professional - I would absolutely use their services again and are planning on asking them to quote some additional projects we need done.

We needed a couple of doors replaced for the quick sale of a home in Enfield, and Lou jumped on the job pronto. He did an excellent job in no time. The job looks very very good and we would hire PerfectView again in a heartbeat! Thanks PerfectView.

Communication was excellent, and the estimator arrived on time, looked everything over, and sent the estimate to me by email in a few days. It was quite detailed and complete, with breakdown of parts and labor for each of the components noted above. The owner of the company brought the contract, and also checked out the three repairs needed, and explained each part of the contract. The work was carried out by his employee, who was very nice and did very careful and accurate work on the bathroom tile, removed the window section, and repaired the roughly twenty rotten parts in the deck floor. I was very happy how the deck flooring and the tile looked. The owner himself replaced the repaired window, which took about an extra week before it was ready to be reinstalled. I am completely happy with the results of the whole project.
