Harken's Landscape Supply & Garden Center

I bought some playground mulch from them online on Thursday. I had put in comments that I would like to have it delivered on Friday or Saturday. The online order says someone will call you to set up a delivery, but no one called. When I got home from work around 5, I called them but they were closed. So I left a voice message stating that the mulch wasn't going to work and to cancel the order. I got into a car accident on my way to work, so I went home after the car was towed. The mulch was sitting on my driveway at 8:00AM. I called them and asked them why they delivered without calling to schedule a time/place AND when I left a message that I wanted it canceled. The lady claimed that she didn't have a voice message. I told her I can text me a screen shot that I had called that number and talked for 3 minutes. Apparently, she had talked to the owner and the owner's best offer at a resolution was to have me pay ANOTHER 65 dollar fee to have it picked up. I half wonder if he got the voice message after the fact, realized his mistake and forced the sale anyway. At some point, the lady told me to put it on craigslist. You kidding me? Bottom line: 1) If the internet says that they will call to schedule a drop off time/location: then they should instead of doing it without confirmation 2) Check your voicemail. Or don't have it at all. Jerks.

Great service!! Harken's staff helped us to choose better materials while staying within budget. We used one of their recommended sub contractors for installation -- Sean at CTRV Hardscape. He was fantastic to work with and a consummate professional. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. Experience was much BETTER than expected.

I like that they were prompt and reliable. I didn't have to call numerous times, they just came. A neighbor even commented on how efficiently they worked. I was very pleased with them and they finished the job in about 2 days.

WE WERE ADMIRING THEIR WORK WHEN THEY APPROACHED US ABOUT HAVING A WALKWAY DONE. THEY ARE LOCAL, WHICH WAS CONVENIENT. THEY ARE REPUTABLE AND THEY DID A GREAT JOB.
