+ -1 moreNeeding the dormer spaced painted to be rented, and on a very tight budget, I called three services to get quotes. I explained that I was willing to make compromises on the quality for the sake of schedule and price. The first offer was very high, but was offering premium, high quality work. The second quote was lower and more reasonable. The third quote was from Lemelin Painting and Larry understood what I was looking for. His price was significantly lower than the first offer, but I got the sense that Lemelin Painting was going to do the job the way I wanted it done, with out fussy perfection that I couldn't afford at the moment. But... despite the lower price, they did a spectacular job!! I know Larry and his co-painter, Cliff, did the kind of high quality work that the first painter gave me an expensive quote for. They caulked corners, fixed a botched sanding/plastering job, and other extra stuff that Larry didn't include in the cost. It was exactly what I was hoping to get done and at a very reasonable price. Also, Larry and Cliff were professional and reliable. They showed up when expected, were respectful of my property and friendly. They also do other types of home repair work and can offer more services then just interior painting. I am looking forward to having them work on other projects around the home.
Description of Work: Interior painting of a 660 sq ft finished attic dormer. Many walls, niches and a sloped ceiling. Included priming in some areas which had never been painted and the interior and exterior of the entrance door. The room had not been painted in over 15 years and need much attention.

+ -1 moreTHEY WERE CREATIVE IN THEIR COLOR SCHEMES AND DIDN'T USE THE SAME COLORS TWICE. THEY DID A GREAT JOB USING A DIFFERENT THEME FOR EACH OF THE ROOMS. THEY WERE VERY FRIENDLY, TOO.
Description of Work: THEY PAINTED THREE BEDROOMS IN MY HOUSE.
