Description of Work: Dreadful experience. |Dave used to be reliable and trustworthy-past tense. |We had him replace our central air 2 years ago. |It was a nightmare. |He made so many mistakes installing it. |It failed countless times over the summer. |He kept blaming all the down time on faulty parts; |that were brand new. |He then became disgruntled over all the repeat calls- |he complained he was not making more money for the repeat trips. |He cared less that we already paid him over 10k. |If he had done the job correctly | in the first place; he wouldn't have had to come back so often. |He left the hair handler soaking wet all winter. |He finally returned in the spring swearing; and replaced it. |It had frozen over the year before; again new air handler. |He dried the original air handler out on our front lawn |and said he would sell it new to another customer. |He indicated our duct work needed replacing at 2500. |We had it checked; the duct work was fine. |I did choose to replace one line with a larger one for 150.00. |Two years later we found out he never registered our new c/a system as he said he did. Our 2 year old air handler failed; he refused to come out |indicating his labor was 1 year. |We went with a reliable contractor. |Dave used to be reliable; trustworthy; which is why we gave him the job |to begin with. Sad that he so drastically chged. | |
