ROOF'S BY WELCH

This contractor did not show up for our appointment without any notice.

My house is a single level ranch. There is small water stain in the ceiling in the corner near the outside wall in one of the bedrooms. Also after a heavy rainstorm this stain is sometimes damp. I contacted "Roofs by Welch, Inc." to find out if there is leak in my roof and determine how to fix my roof. I spoke to Max, the company's owner on 10/01/2015 and we set up an appointment for Max to come to my house on 10/02/2015 between 12 (Noon) and 1 PM.. Max called me at 11:30 AM on 10/02/2015 and because it was raining the appointment was rescheduled to 10/06/15 between 12 (Noon) and 1PM. He never called or showed up so at 1:35 PM I called him and asked why he never showed up or called. His explanation was that someone did not schedule my appointment in his computer, so I told him that I had talked to him directly and that he was the person who forgot to schedule my appointment. He (Max) got a bad attitude after hearing this and at this point I told him we could not business. He expressed no remorse or did not say I am sorry for not showing up and wasting some of my time waiting for him to appear. I do not do business with people who do not show up on time or let you know they are not coming or will be late.

Roofand quot;s by Welch did the original roof replacements and knew the make and color of the shingles originally installed so my association hired them to replace about 8-10 shingles on the front of my house that were previously damaged and replaced by a general contractor with shingles that did not match the existing shingles. The first time Welch came out, they replaced the shingles but with ones that again did not match. Why they chose to replace them again with shingles that didn't match is puzzling. They were asked to come back to make it right and when they did, they ripped up shingles off the back of my garage right outside a window and put those shingles in the front. The donor shingles still don't match the ones out front because the rear of my house gets full sun and are very faded and the front shingles aren't. Now, the shingles they replaced on the back of my garage don't match either. So I have 2 areas on my house with patchwork shingles that don't match. Why they would take shingles from another area, right outside a window and in the middle of a roof is again puzzling. I feel they did it on purpose as an F* for having to come back. I can't emphasize enough how displeased I am by the lack of professional work and decision making of Roof's by Welch.

First off let me start off by saying how trustworthy this man is. We were gone and he still did work on our roof and did an outstanding job! He is the kind of man that takes pride in his work and really cares about his customers. I would recommend him to my family.

They cleaned up everything beautifully. Actually better than I expected because there was virtually nothing left on the ground. They covered all of the plants and the landscaping when they did the work. I was so pleased that they took such great precautions while doing the work.
