Description of Work: Maggie does full house cleaning for us twice a month and she had been working for us for over two years. She always does a great job and is very thorough. We are very satisfied with the service.

Description of Work: Maggie is very prompt and cheerful. When she gave me the estimate for my house, I thought it was a bit on the high side, but given what she intended to do, I proceeded. The first time she cleaned my home, it was a day that we were expecting a snow storm. She stayed until it started to snow lightly, and understandably, she left. She was in my home for approximately 5 hours. Not all tasks were completed, but I understood. Prior to my second booking, I asked her about her hourly fee. She indicated that it was "per job", as opposed to hourly and that if I were willing to have her come clean more consistently, she would lower her fee slightly. The second time I had her in, she appeared to be in quite a hurry and only stayed 4 hours. It was more of a superficial cleaning and still charged the same amount, so in essence, her first cleaning turned out to be $40 per hour and the second $50 per hour, with several areas still remaining untouched. While I thought that her quality of work was very good, I was disappointed that after paying a good deal of money, I still had to clean areas myself, such as ceiling fan blades, most of my (finished) basement and some other superficial areas. I would recommend her if you have a smaller home, but I would suggest that you have a thorough and exhaustive list of what you want cleaned and ask her for an estimate of time that she intends to spend.

Description of Work: Was moving and told this provider I needed help cleaning the apartment prior to my moving out. I told her my move date was the following week(spoke to her on a Friday) and she told me she would come that sunday to assess the job, and then she called Sunday morning -prior to her appt. time, and left me a message stating she wouldn't be able to come by that morning and would be by wed. morning-the day before i was leaving. I thought that left me in a bad spot-I figured it might take more than one day, and possibly an extra person might be needed, that she may or may not have available.....very unprofessioal to call and cancel an appt. like she did without giving any kind of valid excuse. She, I feel, is not dependable, and somewhat unprofessional in my eyes, considering on the message she was asking me what cleaning supplies I had(?) or whether she should just bring her own. A professional housecleaner always brings their own equipment and doesn't ask to use yours.....

Description of Work: She cleans my house every other week. She cleans the floors, vacuums, cleans the kitchen including the dishes and also the bathrooms. She even polishes my silver.
