+ -1 moreWe chose this builder from the three quotes received based on the builder's attention to detail on the quote. This attention to detail carried through the actual construction. We ended up with a very attractive, solidly built deck with small architectural touches and craftsmanship beyond what we expected. Contractor was very forthcoming with some of the choices we had (explaining our options for fasteners that didn't protrude above the deck level) . Communication was good conderning scheduling and logistics of the job.
Description of Work: Tore down our old rotting deck and rebuilt the deck.

+ 0 moreHe ended up rebuilding two decks from the ground up, added steps, and deck lighting at no additional cost except for the cost of lumber. He was just outstanding. The final project ended up costing me less than any other estimate that I found. He was very pleasant and easy to work with.
Description of Work: He was going to repair my deck because two oak trees fell on it and damaged the top and the structural portions underneath. He gave me an estimate to repair the damaged part of the deck that was very reasonable, and then it turned out that it needed more work underneath.
