 + -1 moreOn the day they said they would finish they asked for a check in the morning since we would not be home when they finished. I was hesitant but he asked me to trust him so I paid him. They left with out completing the job. I have tried to contact him over and over and he told me he is too busy and would come soon. It has been over two months and my yard is way over grown around the logs. We are having tick issues and can't spray for the logs everywhere. And my sister in law backed into one of the tall stumps he left. I keep calling/ texting to get the job done and he said it isn't worth his time. Dishonest company with no respect in treating their customers fairly and finishing their job.
Description of Work: They were hired to cut down 8 trees chip up the branches, cut stumps low, and cut up logs. Then during the job we also contracted them to take all the wood away.

 + -1 moreThey completed the job about 4 weeks ago. The gentleman who came out was very detailed oriented. He was good with his measurements. He was true to his word with getting back to me with an estimate the same day. The job went well.
Description of Work: I had them put new cement in the back yard. I had them put new drainage in the front and back yard. They also had them put sod in the front and back yard.

Description of Work: I contracted as I had for several years for snowplowing services . During the BIG storm of 2013 they not only did not showup , leaving me stranded in my home for 4 days - BUT they had a message on their answering machine telling me for three days that they were coming soon - so I failed to get alternative plowing for a period of time . It was a bad storm - but their failure to own up to their inability to plow me out was inexcusable .

 + 0 moreThe gent arrived quite promptly to perform the estimate. He took pictures and measured out areas of the yard with a trundle wheel. During our initial meeting I conveyed what what I wanted done, informing the company representative that I wanted certain areas tilled up due to a never ending infestation of vines and weeds. A day or two later he called me back with the estimate. In spite of my desire to have the affected areas tilled his estimate was to have the affected areas manually chopped and the use of chemicals to treat the areas. Having done this myself previously I knew it was ineffective. The shocker was the price for that service alone was $350, which I could have purchased a cheap tiller to use over and over instead of a one-time treatment that was bound to allow the reoccurrence of the problem. The total estimate charges quoted made utilizing their services unattractive and I went with an alternative.
Description of Work: Inquired about having lawn services performed which included tilling up weed and growth infestation, removal of same and basic yard cleanup maintenance.
