Doug and Joe were prompt and dependable; called before arriving as requested. They completed the job within the hour and tested the grill to make sure everything was working properly. Service call was reasonable. As a new homeowner, I added them to my list of go-to service providers.

Mike is a professional and great guy. We asked Mike to come out and do some work for us on our sink and another area of unknown water-related trouble in the house. Mike arrived on time (as always) and took care of everything for us, going above and beyond what you would ask anyone working on your house to do. We have had Mike out to our house before and would not think about using anyone else in the future for our plumbing needs.

Doug and Joe came out promptly and did an amazing job on all the work that needed to be done. They noted to me about additional issues that they found (leaky valves under the kitchen sink) and helped tighten them up in the meantime. They even provided better water supply lines since they noted on their own that we had a rodent infestation in the place we just bought and the other lines could have been chewed through. They showed me the work afterwards and we confirmed everything was working properly. The pricing was fair for the completed work and professionalism they had.

I found Mike on Angies and on Yelp. While I also got estimates from plumbing contractors in Greenwich, Stamford, and Norwalk. Mikes price for a water heater with a 10 year warranty was the same as or less than the others' prices for only a 6 year warranty. He followed up right away on my initial inquiry and gave me a price over the phone. He called to confirm the appointment and responded right way when I had a question after the new water heater was installed. The only thing that I was disappointed about was that Mike sent another guy out to do the job. I had hoped to ask him about our old furnace which is likely to also need replacing soon.

Joe and Doug were so friendly and nice. They fixed our problem in no time and also were very helpful in showing us where our well and water line shutoff valves were. They were very professional! I would highly recommend Mike Barret Plumbing based on this experience. Ask for Joe and Doug!

The job went as smooth as I could have imagined, and I am extremely happy with how the job went. A little background information. I had a boiler that was not that old, but it started leaking. I was obviously not that happy about it. I asked the company that I had a service contract with to give me an estimate (and ultimately had thought that I would go with them). I called a few places to get quotes, and one of them was Mike Barrett Plumbing LLC. Mike showed up exactly when he said that he would, and wanted to earn the business. I am glad that I made the call! I could tell from the start that Mike values his customers, and looks to help where he can. He is knowledgeable and reasonably priced. He also offered me some tips on where I could enjoy some additional savings (unrelated to the work, or his company) that ultimately would not benefit anyone but me, and I truly appreciate that professionalism. When it came time to do the work, Mike and his team showed up when they said that they would, and the job went smoothly. Mike has followed up since, and has made it clear that he is there if I need any help with the replacement boiler and/or the company that it was purchased from. In today's world, it is often very difficult to find someone that takes such pride in the job that they do for their customer, their businesses' reputation, and their craft in general. I feel like I was very lucky to have found Mike and his business through Angie's list. So much so, that I have requested Mike to do some additional work in my bathroom that needs to be done. I am extremely confident that the job will be done properly, and at a reasonable price. I feel that I have found a plumbing/heating business that I can turn to if the need should ever arise (not that I am hoping for the need to arise obviously), and it is one less thing that I have to worry about as a home owner in need of good service vendors. I think that other Angie's list subscribers will find the same if they reach out to Mike when the time comes as well.

Because of the nature of the task the service provider dispatched a two man team of plumbing professionals. They arrived precisely on time. They completed the job without any undo delay. They were thorough, professional and courteous. I was so please the material (facet and extension) used by the service provider was far superior then what was in place originally.

Mike was easy to contact, professionally arrived on time , knew exactly what had to be done to fit the problem and completed the job in no time . Mike did an amazing job and we would call on him again.

RESPONSIVE: I found Mike Barrett Plumbing on Angie's list and phoned him about the leakage and corroded pipes. He phoned back the next day and came over for an inspection and quote quickly. We scheduled the repair for a date of mutual agreement a few days hence. PROMPT: Two plumbers came to do the job. on time. They also finished the job on time. Appointment made one week before based on Angie's list reviews. He called evening before to say they are not coming. My call back to reschedule was sent to voice mail and never returned. Unprofessional. I recently signed up with Angie's list and my first experience using it is not good.

The valves were completely stuck, Mike came out quickly even though I'm probably on the outer fringe of his service area. He was extremely prompt and professional. He fixed the problem quickly and also gave me some advice regarding other fixes that should be made that he thought I could handle myself. He also gave me great information and estimates on several other projects that I am looking to do in the future. His estimates were very, very competitive with other quotes I have received and I will definitely give Mike the first call when I decide to move forward with them.

MBP sent Doug and Joe to do the work. They arrived within the window promised and got to work right away. The calcified cartridge head presented a challenge but not an insurmountable challenge - at least not for these two guys. Doug and Joe were creative and got the head out fairly quickly and popped the new one in. They made sure that the new one was working as intended and cleaned the area after the work had been done. The same high quality service was provided with the outside spigot. They assessed the problem immediately, gave me a reasonable price on the spot, and started to work immediately upon my go ahead. They tested all the valves to make sure there were no leaks. Throughout the entire time here, both Doug and Joe took the time to explain what they were doing and why. Just nice guys. I would use them again without any hesitation.

What a great experience! Sent a Message via Angie's website and got a prompt response. Spoke to Mike on the phone and I explained what I needed done. Was given a quote over the phone that was very fair.We scheduled a day and time. The guys arrived bright and early (so I did not need to take a day off of work). They had the Hot Water Heater installed pretty quickly and saw the quality of their workmanship. They did a great clean up and had removed the old HWH. It went very well. He and his team were professional, punctual and helped when it was discovered we needed an outlet installed (they knew a licensed electrician who was also very good). They went above and beyond in replacing sheetrock once they ran the line. They also made sure everything was working properly and even installed the no-tip brackets. We would definitely call them again.

I had another plumber that i had used, but they were tough to get a hold of and expensive. I called Mike, and told him i needed a toilet installed, and wanted to know how much it would be. He quoted me $225 over the phone (which was $75 less than the plumber i had been using). I told him that i had ordered the toilet and would call when it came in.I did call, and they were able to come out the same day and install the toilet in less than 20 minutes. I know it was not a difficult job, but the ease, quickness and professionalism was outstanding.
