Mike answered the phone when I called and we found a convenient time for him to stop by when my husband was home. My husband and I were impressed by the system he described and he was quick to get back to us with an estimate. Since we liked him and his estimate seemed reasonable, we decided to hire him without getting other estimates. We were not disappointed with our decision. Mike and his team arrived early on the installation day and got to work immediately. Throughout the day, there were two plumbers, one electrician and one oil burner specialist working on the system. Mike worked as both plumber and overseer of the whole project. Although he left throughout the day, it was clear he was coordinating the entire process. The finished product was quality work and the area was thoroughly cleaned. Within the first few days, my husband noticed one small leak at the joining of two pipes. I called Mike and he was able to come the next working day. The fix was not a simple one, but Mike fixed the whole section involved and also noticed that the drain valve on the new water heater was cracked. He replaced it with a new brass valve. We are very happy with our new system. We finally have hot water and we will see how it performs this winter heating our house. I am confident that Mike Barrett will fix any other problems if they present themselves. I would highly recommend his company.

No more drip! Mike had to make four house calls, during which he kept me updated all along as to status of two separate special orders of parts, until our complicated repair was complete. Parts were expensive, however Mike's cost was fair and I appreciated his consideration of the total project cost.

I have used Mike Barrett Plumbing LLC twice before. The first time was for replacement of a kitchen sink and dishwasher. Mike's team was prompt, clean and completed the job in a timely manner. What Mike quoted was what I paid..... no surprises. The second time I call Mike was for an inspection regarding a leak. Mike diagnosed the problem within in minutes. Great work and a nice guy.

Very well done. Tech was on time, in and out in under two hours and knew his job. We are very satisfied with the work. Needless to say there is no such thing as "perfect"....there was some clean up left undone in the basement...but all in all, a very good job. Would certainly hire them again!

Mike and crew were prompt and all business, and in addition, Mike fixed the water flow problem we'd had in that bathroom shower since the day we bought the house (for no additional charge). He is punctual, professional, and highly competent and I am very happy with the final results. The fiberglass tub structure Mike removed was a one piece structure that was installed when the house was first built in 1991. There would be no way to install a one-piece structure again without ripping down walls, so Mike ordered and installed a multi-piece structure that fit all together nicely to look like one piece. As expected, in order to take down the original tub structure, some of the surrounding drywall had to be cut out as well. Replacing the cut-out drywall was not part of the job, but Mike did offer the services of someone he knew if I didn't want to do the job myself (I did). I was very satisfied with Mike's work, and he will be my first call from now on for any of my future plumbing needs.

All went very well as it usually does with Mike's services. He and his crew are always punctual, courteous and professional. I wasn't at home when the work was performed but when I got home, I wasn't comfortable with the placement of one of the pipes/valve so I asked him to please come back to move it up a little which he responded to right away. I wasn't thinking and contacted him via text after hours but he texted me right back and said he'd be back tomorrow, which he did and made the adjustment needed. Will continue to use Mike's services for future projects. It's comforting to have a plumbing expert that you can call upon to address plumbing services.

Mike showed up and recognized the problem right away. He replaced the problem valve and purged my system. He stuck around to make sure heat was returned throughout the house. Since he fixed the issue I have not lost heat and the clanging noise in the pipes is no more.

Mike's estimate was very reasonable compared to those we obtained from two other plumbers, he knew the permit work that was necessary for the job and handled it, he was prompt, and he followed up when needed (the job had to be done in stages, with an inspection in between). He arrived back at our house within the hour, a couple of days later, to check the tank when we thought we smelled gas and called him. We were thoroughly impressed with the professionalism of Mike and the two men who worked with him.

One of the most positive professional experiences ever, still memorable after 4 months of flawless operation after the installation. All communication was clear, timely, all commitments were delivered on. The team that came demonstrated strong customer and technical skills with excellent work ethic and exceptional teamwork. The whole process end to end including at least three subs- delivery, removal and technical set up were all seamlessly arranged and executed and at an excellent value compared to other quotations.
