Mike is a skilled and very reliable plumber. The quality of his work and the fact that he's always there when we need him account for why Mike has been our plumber for many years!

Mike was very courteous. He was stuck in rush hour traffic, so he called ahead to let me know he would be 15 minutes late. He arrived approximately in that time, was very professional. He advised that a leaking shower stall did not need repairs another plumber had quoted, so he instructed me how to make the minor repair cheaply. He then made a brief repair to a leaking sink, and was done in minutes. The price for the service call was a bit high, but I appreciated his honesty.

Contacted Mike on Sunday and he was able to come on Monday and took care of few pending things. He was on time and charge was reasonable. I will use Mike for any future plumbing needs.

We called Mike on the afternoon of 6/22, we met on the morning of 6/23, and the job was completed my noon on 6/23. The response was great, the install was perfect, and the cost was much better that others that just unclogged our drain. We would highly recommend Mike Barrett Plumbing to others.

I wasn't home at the time. My son was home but I ended up coming home while they were still there. They were very responsive. And the work seemed very good.

I've used Mike services before to replace my tub/shower faucet. I find him to always be prompt, courteous and offer a very good price. He's one person who I definitely trust and would refer. I'll be calling him soon to do another job for us!

All went very well. Mike responds to messages I leave for him here on Angie's list in a timely manner and is always very polite and professional. I'm not comfortable with the idea of letting a contractor into my home when I'm not there but I feel very comfortable doing so with Mike. Granted, it was the second time I used his services so the comfort level was there. He and his 2 assistants also removed an old, useless steel tank that was not easy to manuever between small areas and doorways but they did it successfully and took it away, which is a huge help to me obviously. The area was left as clean as they found it. He texted me when job was complete which is helpful to me. Communication is important to me and Mike is very good at it. I'm so happy to have found a local plumber I can rely on.

Workers were prompt, professional and friendly. Cleaned up afterwards. Radiators were installed on a snow melting muddy day and when they were done, they asked for a mop to clean up my floors.

He did a great job. He showed up on time and did the work in a professional manner. He did exactly what I asked him to do and I have had no problems since. I would definitely call him again if I need any other plumbing work done.

Mike and Doug arrived exactly on time and immediately set to work. I had concerns as the fixtures were old and thought there might be a problem, but the installation went smoothly and quickly. The shower/bath looks great and works fine- better than before. They were very professional and left the bath clean and free of debris. The bill was actually less than his estimate as Mike reminded me of the Angie's coupon that I had forgotten! Thanks Mike for your honesty and quality of work. Definitely would use his services again

I had a plumbing emergency. I called Mike based on recommendations I had received. He answered the phone right away; however he was in Virginia. I explained the situation and he gave me a solid temporary solution that worked exactly as he explained. I would not hesitate a second to call Mike again for service.

Mike Barretts plumber recommended a local store, Matz Lumber, to look for a new vanity. Matz Lumber was great, sold me a quality vanity and were very knowledgable. Mike Barrett came back as soon as the new vanity was delivered and installed the new one. In the meantime I also bought a new kitchen faucet and asked them to install that as well, which they did to the best of their ability. The quality of the Moen kitchen faucet was inferior and the base plate is not sealed to the sink so water is getting under the plate.

Everything went well. I was working with Mike from 500 mile away regarding a rental property. He was punctual, evaluated the problem thoroughly, made some further recommendations and completed the task for my tenant professionally, competently and for a reasonable price. I especially give him and his crew credit as they needed to go into a tight, less then ideal condo crawl space on one of the coldest days of the year to complete the job and never complained about it. I would certainly hire this company again!

In an earlier review I was critical of the owner for not returning my phone call I retract the prior review since it appears that the owner was on vacation and he did call me back several days later to explain my apologies

Mike came on time and the work was done perfectly. No fuss, no mess, no problem. Would definitely recommend Mike to anyone looking for plumbing services.

I requeted Mikes services over the weekend and received a reply back right away. He called me the following business day and confirmed a day and time of service. Mike was early for the appointment, had the parts to complete the job and was very fairly priced! Excellent work would highly reccomend A+++++++!

He did a great job - was able to come out quickly, fixed the toilet, and the price was reasonable.

After all of his hard work to find the part I had to honor a part that my original plumber found . However I am sure I would use Mike if this one does not work. I am sure if there are any other plumbing problems I would call him. I live in Old Greenwich and he is in Danbury and was willing to come down to my town.

Responsive to our call, and came when scheduled. Courteous, and efficient. This is our third call (old pipes), and probably won't be our last. If we need a plumber again, these are our go-to guys!

Mike was responsive in getting our water tank replaced and was willing to accommodate on timing since we needed to plow and shovel snow in order to get him access; he cleaned after his work and removed old tank; and all for very reasonable cost. I would definitely use him again and recommend him to others.

I left a message for Mike on the Angie's List messenger service, and he called me that same day to set up an appointment. He arrived with his assistant right on time, and finished the job in less than 30 minutes. The price was reasonable, and Mike was very professional and courteous. He is now my plumber for life!

Mike was a pleasure to work with. He put in a new line, and even cleaned up the kitchen after he was done. All in all I would definitely use Mike Barrett again in the future.
