He provided same day service and fixed the problem within 30 mins. I couldn't have asked for more and would definitely use him again.

Called mike and left him a voicemail on Saturday, 12/26 and he called back on Monday 12/28. Told him the situation and he said he could come out the next day, Tuesday, 12/29. Asked me to text him some pictures so he could see what he needed to do. He showed up right on time at 9am despite the sleet and snow and got right to work. He fixed the pipe and put the filler on quickly, checked his work for leaks multiple times and everything was as good as new. He gave me some ideas about other things I needed to fix like water pressure and replacing a toilet. Pricing was really fair and by the hour and he worked quickly to get the job done.

I called Mike with short notice and he came through for me. Not only did he come last minute, I had to call him again the next day for more work and he came though again. I called Mike Barrett after having a dismal time waiting for weeks on another plumber to come to the house for the same work. He returned my call the same day, arrived at my house to give me an estimate the following day and had the job scheduled for the end of the same week. The guys ended up coming earlier because another job had taken less time than originally estimated and he squeezed me in, knowing I was anxious to move in to my "new" old house. When I called him with a different problem a few weeks later, same deal. Call back within same day, had the guys come out a few days later. Always prompt, courteous and a job well done. The second trip cost less than the worst case scenario estimate which he diagnosed over the phone, so I was a super happy camper. I would highly recommend Mike and crew - they are seasoned professionals and very reasonably priced. When I'm ready to renovate the bathrooms, I know who to call!

Great experience from top to bottom. I called Mike and was able to get an appointment scheduled for the next day. They were on-time and very courteous. The job was completely quickly with no issues, and they cleaned up nicely when they were done. We were experiencing extremely low water pressure and in need of a new plumber, since ours had moved from the area. Based on Angie's List reviews, I contacted Mike Barrett Plumbing. Mike replied to my message the same day, indicated that the problem could be potentially costly and should be looked at promptly, and asked when it would be convenient for him to come to the house. The next day, which was a Saturday, he said he would move his appointments around so he could take a look at the tank on Monday. He arrived promptly on Monday and took care of the problem, which, fortunately for us, did not require an expensive repair. Mike is very friendly, competent and professional, such that I am happy to say we have found a new plumber.

Mike was great. I called with a leaky toilet in the morning and he was able to fit repairing it in his schedule that afternoon. Would definitely would use his services again. Thanks Mike!

Mike Barrett is a wonderful plumber and a great person to do business with. He worked closely with my wife and me to make sure that a 2-day / 16-hour job with 3 plumbers on-site did not leave us without heat overnight (the temperature dropped to 27 degrees). He gave lots of good advice on options. All work was professional. Everything went very smoothly with no surprises. Clean-up was well done. He came early in the morning and stayed until each module was completed.. We couldn't be happier with the whole project! A+

My son continued to work on the clog during the time I was calling and just as Mike pulled up to my house, the clog cleared. I let Mike know and asked what I owed for him to come to my house. There was no charge. Would I call him again? Absolutely! Thank you, Mike, for the almost instantaneous response!

This company did an outstanding job in a very timely fashion.

They were professional, courteous and on time. They replaced the line with a steel line but then our water tasted like metal. They said it would work itself out but it didn't. They came back right away free of charge to put back a plastic line and our water now tastes great again! Mike is amazing at responding quickly and taking care of needs. I would definitely recommend them!

Mike had excellent communication. He arrived on date and time agreed upon and completed the job in under an hour. He performed the routine service required to the tank even after I told him I had a previous opinion from another contractor who stated I needed much more work. The area of leaking from the tank has stopped, and the area has remained dry since the work was performed. My water pressure is much better in the system overall and all without needing any expensive parts or labor. I will definitely call him first next time.

After reading all the positive reviews, I reached out to Mike regarding a slow leak with one of our radiators. He promptly called back and scheduled an appointment to stop by our house the next day at 9:30 am. Mike was extremely professional, quickly addressed the issue and offered to check other radiators in our house to see to if they were functioning efficiently. I called for an estimate after finding him on Angies list. I got an immediate return call and a quick visit to view the problem. He quickly emailed me with an estimate. I agreed to the job being done and it was scheduled the folliwng week to fit my schedule. He was running a few minutes late when he came for the estimate and professionally called me to say he would be 10 minutes late which I thought was really nice. Day of installation arrived on time and completed the job. He also installed new fixtues in my bathtub which were very corroded. I am completely satisfied with the job and would recommend him to anyone. Matter of fact some friends of mind want his number in case of future work.Very nice an very professional. I will definitely use him again when needed.

We just moved to the Danbury, CT area, and this was my first time calling a plumbing contractor. Mr. Barrett returned my call within 12-14 hours, as I told him this was not urgent. An appointment was available for the next day, but I made one for the following day. That morning Mr. Barrett arrived five minutes early. He diagnosed the problem within 10 mins., repaired it and explained it. And he did remove whatever small amount of debris that was in the drain. He was very friendly, very professional, trustworthy, and overall it was a very pleasant experience. I had asked that he recommend other home improvement contractors which he did. I don't have anything to compare his price to in this area, but to me it is well worth it to have a contractor that you trust.
