Luis is a highly professional individual rappresenting an equal trustworthy company . Luis and his guys worked well later at night to be able to finish the job. They complete the work and we are very happy furthermore they all had a fantastic attitude and willing disposition . Luis and his team did outstanding work. They were perfectionists when it came to installing the doors and paint work. Henry, the gentleman who came to put in the storm door came in the middle of a Nor-Easter with driving snow and wind to do the job. The rooms came out better than I ever expected and the front and back door really make the house look more up-to-date (It was built in the 1960s. They even cleaned up after they were done, right down to vacuuming the rooms and left them cleaner than they were before. Since I have pets, they were mindful to not leave the front gate open or ask before going into the bedroom to do put the bedroom door/staining it. Thank you Luis for all of the hard work and attention to detail that you and your team put into the project. I would definitely recommend you to anyone who is looking for quality work.

We made a few adjustments to the original agreement, Luis and his team accommodated with absolutely no issue. Very reasonable and extremely happy with the outcome. Luis and team were great, they were punctual, professional, and fast. They came and provided a reasonable estimate with a quick start date. All repairs and installation were completed in one day.

I was relieved to find a roofing company with such good reviews at AL, Yelp and Google because hiring the wrong contractor can be a very costly mistake. Luis was very accessible and answered all my questions. Everything about the company is extremely organized and highly professional. His crew is large enough to get the work done quickly and efficiently. My husband is very knowledgeable of this kind of work, and he and I are very pleased with the outcome. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Lecla again for any improvement or repair to my house.

Communication during the estimation process was excellent. Luis is not chatty, but he is to-the-point, rapid and reliable. Lecla protected the leaking section of roof until he could come and work on it (a few days) and then his people did a great job of pulling off the old shingles, replacing the flashing and some rotten plywood and then laying high quality ice and water shield and new shingles. All done in a few hours and with no resulting mess. There was one small issue with a drain pipe that was stepped on and broke, which the foreman replaced. We then made an appointment for several weeks later to repair the damaged sheet rock, replace a light fixture and re-paint that section of the interior. They also were ready to replace insulation material, if necessary (it wasn't) for the same price. Lecla was not the least expensive company around, but they did a great job and it was good to work with people that could be a one-stop-shop for all of the issues. Will definitely contact them again when it is time to replace my main roof and probably for other work.

It was a small project, but needed doing quickly. We were quickly slotted into the schedule and promptly and professionally dealt with. Couldn't ask for more.

Luis was prompt with the initial quote which was very competitive. He was able to come to the house within a week of the quote. His team was fantastic, each member knowing exactly what to do. After Luis' team removed the first layer of shingles, he pointed the damaged and sagging plywood which has been on the house for 50+ years. He indicated the the plywood was to thin for the pitch of the rafters. After discussing the options, Luis replaced the entire roof with thicker plywood . The additional cost was unexpected but still reasonable. Any other roofer would have probably ignored the plywood and shingled over a damaged roof. Luis wanted to make sure the job was done correctly. His team completed the roof in 3 days. The clean up was meticulous. I would definitively recommend Lecla Home Improvements. Awesome job!

The project went swimmingly. LECLA's proprietor, Mr. Luis Clavijo, was prompt to respond to my initial call, to meet me for a site visit, to provide a proposal and to answer follow-up questions. When we agreed on the project scope and price (I note that Mr. Clavijo, unlike some other contractors, was open to making some reasonable changes to his standard form contract), he was able to schedule the job start date within two weeks. The day before work began, the roofing materials were delivered to my driveway (a minor error in color of drip edge was quickly rectified and did not delay the work.) The following day the crew of 5 arrived about 15 minutes before the agreed-upon 7:30 a.m. start time and at 7:30 hit the ground running. They protected shrubs, plantings, patio furniture and deck before starting work and, evidencing considerable experience, performed like a well-oiled machine with different workers removing the old roof, carting debris to the dumpster, and preparing and hauling the new roofing materials to where needed. The coordination was equally evident when the crew began the new roof installation, as plywood, flashing, underlayments and shingles, etc. work was performed in sequence by several crew members following each other. The old roof was removed quickly and installation of the new underlayment, drip edges, flashing, ridge vent and shingles on the main roof (along with replacement of some sheets of damaged existing plywood) was done by the end of Day One. The entire roof was done by the end of Day Two and cedar shakes, with new flashing and associated trim carpentry, and final clean-up were complete on Day Three. From the start, it was clear that LECLA's 5-man crew knew what they were doing. They wore safety harnesses, boots and, for those working below, safety helmets; they measured carefully, used chalk lines and wood guides to maintain straight lines for the roof and cedar shingles and handled power tools with confidence. LECLA had its own trucks to deliver its crew and tools (no other vehicles crowding driveway) and to deliver and haul away the dumpster. I was at home during nearly all of the work and observed that the crew quickly and safely got heavy materials to the roof by hoist, took few and short breaks, were pleasant and responsive in my few interactions, and put in full days of work. The roof looks great and, although no rain, much less a storm, has hit yet, it appears ready to protect my home when they inevitably do. I tip my hat to Mr. Clavijo and his crew for a job well done at a bid price that was neither the lowest nor the highest I elicited. It was a pleasure dealing with LECLA and I will call upon them again should another project arise. I otherwise recommend LECLA to other homeowners looking to have similar work performed.

I've used them a couple of times. I would give them the top grade, whatever the top is. I'm a realtor. I recommend him to everyone of my clients that need that kind of work done. He's great. Everyone of them used him and liked him. I think his price was great. It was cheaper, a lot less than most people. A for everything. Absolutely, I would use him again. He was referred to me by a real estate agent in my office that used him. He was organized and everything he told you he would be there at certain time he was very punctual. He pulled the permits from the city. He did everything he told you he was going to do. There is nothing he could work on with anything that I've had. They were very, very good.

All work was done quickly and professionally. There were various smaller add on jobs that were done as part of the original agreements. My home has been complimented repeatedly for its great new appearance. My neighbors have since hired Lecla to perform work on there homes. Don't hesitate to contact them.... After doing business with owner Luis Clavijo it is easy to understand how he has built a very successful business. He has old fashioned values that are very hard to find now a days. He was fairly priced, he did what he said he would do / when he said he would do it, and he and his team do quality work that they take pride in. He was recommended to me by a friend who's house he roofed. The friend gave Luis a glowing review. I received bids from others but none of them instilled me with the confidence that he gave me. Just a feeling that turned out to be correct. You will always deal with Luis the owner. When you call him, he either answers or calls right back.His company is just the right size. Large enough to get the job done quickly but small enough to eliminate price inflating overhead such as salesmen who never swung a hammer. I do most work myself because I am frugal and have high standards that few of today's professionals meet. This job was just WAY too big. I was a pain in the butt but Luis and his team were always responsive and accommodating. My yard looked better when they were done than when they started.

Luis came with a large professional crew and finished the entire job in one day. No delays, no excuses, no cost overruns. They came right on schedule and did a masterful job. In addition, Luis was available at a moments notice to come back to the house and advise me on any other issues I had with the renovation work. The job went very well. They provided a very fair estimate the same day as my initial call. The two men who installed the skylights were knowledgeable and very courteous and the business owner stopped by mid-way through the installation to ensure that everything was going smoothly. The installers worked quickly and did a great job. When the job was completed they totally cleaned up and removed the old skylights and other debris. I would have no problem hiring them again and recommending them to anyone who requires the type of work they perform.

I was very impressed at how professional everyone was. Luis was extremely responsive to my questions and concerns while we discussed what I needed done to give me an estimate. Once I agreed to have them do my work, his office staff was super helpful in getting the proper paperwork for my condo association. The two teams that did the work were thorough and took their time to do the job properly. I was very happy with all of the work they did. Once they finished they did a complete cleanup of everything before they left. I was also impressed by how often Luis checked in with me during the work and afterwards to make sure I was satisfied with everything. I would highly recommend this company!

When we moved in to our house, it was 16 years old and had the original roof and chimney caps. We had a few people that came to the house to do some work that commented that the roof was looking rough. The chimney caps were so rusted that the rust was staining our vinyl siding down the chimneys. I tried to put it off as long as possible, but this past rainy spring season, we had a good amount of water coming into the house through the fireplace. So, I knew that I could no longer put it off and if we were going to change the chimney caps, the roof would be changed too. We called a guy that worked on the house before and he can out and gave us an estimate on the roof and also talked to him about windows. The estimate was about what I expected, but I was not comfortable until I had another quote to make sure it was in line with the rest of the industry. A neighbor recommended Lecla Home Improvements as a good company that worked with his brother who is a contractor that builds houses. So, my husband called him for an estimate on the roof. Luis, who is the owner of Lecla Home Improvements called shortly thereafter and was on site at our house within 15 minutes. Pretty darn good. That shows to us, that he really wanted the job. My husband talked to him about what we were looking for and he looked around the house taking some pictures that loaded onto an app and that app told him the square feet, the amount of supplies he would need and was quite impressive. He mentioned that he used primarily GAF products and architectural shingles either normal or HD. I knew GAF as a company that it has been around for quite a long time, has many construction products including insulation, etc. and as one that has a good reputation. At the end of the visit, he left some brochures and information for us to review. By that evening, we had an email from Luis with an estimate along with a copy of his insurance and Licenses. That was a very nice touch that we did not even have to ask if he was insured, and the estimate was substantially less than the first guy’s. We emailed him that we were quite interested, asked a few questions, asked about installing a solar tunnel (at no extra charge) and he quickly stopped by and left us samples and colors of the shingles. It was a tough choice since they all were really attractive, but we decided on Pewter Grey. The day for installation was rainy, so installation was postponed to the next day. Supplies were dropped off by ABC Supply during the weekend, and the job started on Tuesday. Luis and his crew showed up early, about 7:30 am with Luis’s truck (parked on street), one job van (pulled in driveway) and one dump truck (parked on street). Parking the big truck on the street was very much appreciated…we did not want oil stains or damage to the driveway. Luis talked to us and introduced his foreman, Segundo. Segundo and 2 other guys did not waste any time in getting to work. They first inspected the front of the house where they were going to work and asked for any garden art or such to be removed. They installed a net from the edge of the roof to the ground as a slide for roofing debris. This worked great and did not damage any of my plants in the flower bed. They even put up a gutter guard so that the gutters would not be damaged by the ladders. They spent the first day ripping the front of the house off and then installing. Everything went smoothly and the guys worked tirelessly. After the first day, they cleaned up all the roof debris, removed ladders and stored them on the side of our shed, and cleaned up any nails or other debris that was not caught by the netting. I don’t think they actually left until probably 6:30 at night and took the dump truck with them. Long day for them. The next day was early again, and Segundo with his crew of 3 guys went to work on the back of the house. They installed the same netting to catch debris and cascaded it out to the back yard to miss the deck. They worked even harder than the first day and also installed the solar tunnel on the roof. At the end of the day, all was pretty darn clean, the roof looked amazing, and the shiny copper chimney caps were awesome! We noticed one chimney was a little bit messed up, and Segundo came out the next day and fixed it for us. Great job guys! I would definitely recommend him to any one that needs their roof replaced. They do good work and take pride in a job well done. Luis is very attentive to his customers and responds quickly to our questions or concerns. His crew of workers were very polite, showed up on time and worked their tail off every day. We are so satisfied with this job, we are now talking to Luis about installing new construction windows and am sure he will do a great job at a fair price. A few days after the job was complete, we were surprised when a Danbury building inspector stopped by and signed off on the approved job. Luis took out a permit for the job and did not even mention it. Kudos to him! Awesome again. Then he sends a follow up email to us letting us know that he has registered our GAF product and activated the warranty…😊! You cannot go wrong with Lecla Home Improvements! We are happy customers!
