Joe Carty just finished our kitchen remodeling job and I have nothing but praise for the job Joe did. From the moment we met Joe he was always professional. Joe adhered to his schedule and was on the job each day for a full day of work. His work is meticulous and detailed and nothing is left undone. When Joe noticed some other issues in our house needed addressing he took care of it. Joe is a great person and I highly recommend him. I would have no reservation in having hiring Joe again. BTW Joe also installed a new shower in our bathroom while doing the kitchen remodeling. He’s amazing!

The services provided by Joe T. Carty and son were excellent. They are extremely professional, timely, clean and pay attention to every detail of their work. What a great job! I am still smiling! Impressed by the actual work for sure but also with the diligence, neatness, and time management. Joe offered such great suggestions ,too, based on his years of experience. When Joe said he would start, he was there. And the project took exactly 3 weeks…perfect! All the subcontractors (electrical, plumbing) Joe used were professional and very helpful. It’s only fair that I am honest in my review but no doubt Joe will get MORE work and I’ll be waiting in line for him to return for some additional projects here!

The new shower looks great, we're very happy with it. Joe did a quick job on taking out the old shower, repaired some studs, installed the new shower tiles and organized a plumber to install the fixtures. Overall a great job, no dust and mess in surrounding rooms and the site was left clean each day. We will ask Joe to do all of our future projects.

"Gut to finish" took just 21 days, absolutely remarkable! Craftsmanship was impeccable. The entire team stayed on schedule ( guided by my contractor) and was a pleasure to work with, very considerate and courteous. I never had to worry about anything and was always communicated with in a timely manner about options to consider. From the drawings to completion this was a very smooth experience and I have been doing design work for 18 years. I highly recommend Joe Carty Sr. and Joe Carty Jr. if you are considering construction work of any kind.

Joe did a great job. This was a big job. Kitchen was totally gutted and modernized. The work was top notch. This is the 2nd job I've used Joe for and I highly recommend him.

Perfectly! Joe is the consummate professional, in that he is timely, efficient, and always does an excellent job. We have used him on a number of indoor and outdoor projects over the last few years, and already are arranging to use him for more windows and a deck replacement next year.

Joe did an excellent job for us. His ingenuity and craftsmanship are outstanding. He was easy to work with and we always felt that he understood our needs. His recommendations really helped guide the projects to successful completions. The work performed included exterior repairs, siding, interior and exterior trim, custom stairs, window installation, kitchen remodeling, and some structural work.

I had used Joe Carty before to repair rotted wood casings and other exterior trim on my house and was extremely happy with the work and cost of the job. Recently, we were in the process of a corporate buyout after we transferred to a new job location and received a lengthy list of repairs that needed to be done before the company would assume the house. The repairs ranged from new panels for our hot tub to evaluating some moisture in our attic to removing a fireplace hearth board and fixing a damaged door. Joe was quick to complete the work making the process of working through our punch list painless and easy. I would highly recommend Joe for small repairs; I also know he does larger jobs and am sure the quality and attention to detail would be the same.

Joe did an excellent job on our kitchen remodel. We had a small, original (1960's) kitchen that was minimally updated, but overall the cabinets and floor (linoleum) were all indicative of the era. We worked with the Cartys to figure out how best to optmize our remodel given the limited space and decided to take down the non-load bearing wall between the kitchen and living room to make it feel bigger. Joe was always on time, very professional and communicated with us and his recommendations on certain unique "challenges" were always on point. The subcontractors that Joe used were all incredibly professional and would use them again.

When we were planning on updating our Master Bath, Joe T Carty was our first choice. We worked with Joe on a previous project with our Kitchen update. The workmanship and detail on our New Bathroom has exceeded our expectations. Our Bathroom now feels bright, refreshing, invigorating and inviting! We know when we decide to update our Powder Room next, Joe will be our 1st choice!

We worked with a 3rd Party Kitchen Designer, where we ordered cabinets/shelves and Countertops, as well as slightly tweaked our floorplan. We chose to hire an independent Contractor, rather than the one provided through the 3rd Party. (Best decision) Joe Carty Jr. performed all needed work (excluding finished plumbing and electrical) in a timely and professional manner. Joe Carty works closely with local Plumbing and Electrical services, in which he coordinates the needed work to be done with them. The Demo and haul away went smoothly and the work area was always left clean and safe. Joe Jr. worked independently, completing the work himself and the finished product exceeded our expectations. He took the time to study the Floorplan, he found some discrepancies with the measurements, but he was easily able to figure out how to make things work! He even took the time to add some custom touches with left over pieces of moulding. Overall, we are very happy with the end result! We would highly recommend Joe Carty to others, as well as use their Services for future projects!

We have found Joe to be extremely professional and responsive to our project needs. He arrives on-time on the day he said he would and sticks with the project until it is complete. The quality of his work is excellent and he is creative in finding a cost-effective solution for issues if they come up during the project. The finished basement he did for us looks great, the bathroom he remodeled adds a lot of value to our house and most of our exterior house trim and barn doors and some windows were replaced or renovated by Joe. He is always our first choice for our home projects.

Our existing deck was 30 years old. Joe, rebuilt it replacing the deck surface, stairs, railings, and the support structure where necessary. He pays attention to the details and does outstanding work. He clearly has the skills to do more intricate work (kitchens, baths, etc.) I recommend him without hesitation. Very nice guy and very professional.

Both Joe Sr. & Joe Jr. were a pleasure to work with. Did a complete demo: tiled floor, shower, and drop-in tub surround. Installed new vanity. Brought in electricians & plumbers for all new lighting and fixtures. Everything went very smoothly. Many thanks to the Cartys for a job well done.

I have a beautiful new kitchen that everyone raved about when I hosted Thanksgiving this year. I removed the wall between kitchen and DR to get a larger, lighter and open kitchen. Joe Sr. and Joe Jr. did a great job in helping me to design the new layout, worked with an engineer who approved the wall removal and the permit department who inspected the work. This is the 3rd job they've done for me (also guest bath and master bath). Always professional, quality work. Very knowledgeable, diverse skills and bring in excellent subcontractors as needed.

Very well. Joe gutted the bathroom, replaced everything except the ceiling. He hired the electrician and the plumber: all were prompt, thorough, neat and very pleasant to work with. Joe was here every morning by 8am, sometimes as early as 730 with prior notice. he was reliable, did a beautiful job and was very easy to work with. Will have him do all future work we plan

Joe has been our GC through two different batches of work. He really is a great tile guy and GC. I think his finishing touches could be better, but I would never hesitate to use him again for bathroom/tile work. Both of our bathrooms and our entry way receive nothing but praise and it is all thanks to Joe.

I had two full bathrooms and one powder room completely remodeled, so the work was extensive. Really happy with how they turned out. The initial proposal was clear and detailed as to cost and what was included. Joe was professional, courteous and skilled in completing the work - great trouble-shooter whenever a challenge presented itself. He always showed up on time and communicated ahead of any decisions that needed to be made. He coordinated and oversaw the electrical and plumbing work to ensure the project stayed on schedule. From the initial proposal to the end result it was a pleasure working with them. Will definitely call them first for any future projects.

We've used Joe to do other work for us -- and we were extremely happy -- so when it was time to remodel our bathroom, we called Joe and did not consider any other contractors. He helped us with the new layout and recommended a retailer for cabinets and fixtures. The project included moving 2 sinks, moving a toilet, relocating the shower and placing a new bathtub - pretty extensive work. Joe and his son are both true professionals. They do a great job communicating through every phase of the project and deliver on all promises. We are delighted with how the bathroom turned out! We recommend Joe and his son to all of our friends and would definitely hire them again in the future!
