Terrible! Across the board! Needed custom blinds for 12 windows. 8 would be motorized due to height of the windows. Went with Hunter Douglas due to lifetime warranty, and with JC Penney In Home Decorating due to credit card incentive. The JC Penney sales consultant was clueless - did not know her product at all, and conducted the sale on the false pretense that there would be a lifetime warranty on the entire order. We later discovered Hunter Douglas motorized blinds only have a 5 year warranty. Neither JC Penney nor Hunter Douglas would honor the warranty despite proof that the sales associate misled us about it. Many of the blinds arrived damaged or inoperative. Was very surprised at the quality deficiencies since Hunter Douglas is supposed to be one of the best - they certainly are priced that way! Install was a nightmare of miscommunication - our design consultant dropped the ball time after time. The blinds were finally installed 3 months later, and we were happy until one of the motorized blinds began to act up. Now it doesn't move at all (and yes - I've changed to fresh batteries). Now when I call JC Penney for warranty support the phone just rings and rings - not even an answering machine in that department.

The cord knobs broke in half after 4 times of just opening the blinds, I advised them and they told me to tape it. I used them 15 years ago, and now the quality i not the same.

JC Penney Co. has a good selection. I am an extra large and it is hard to find clothes in my size. JC Penney has a big and tall selection. I can purchase online and the quality is good. In stores they do not have as much of a selection but there is still a good product. Their prices are good.
