flooring contractor
 + -1 moreHe said he could install the floor but that he had never installed that type before. The problem was that he installed the incorrect sub-floor, and therefore the floor started to buckle. Also, no warranties were discussed or included in the contract. David came back the following spring and fixed a piece of the floor that had buckled at that time. However, the floor continued to buckle because the wrong sub-floor-installation. When I called to have him fix it, he said that there was a warranty of only a year even though none had been discussed previously, and he refused to come back and fix the floor. I took him to small claims court and won a judgment, but I'm still trying to collect on it.
Description of Work: I hired Dave to install a vinyl floor. I had used him in the past.
