Mountain View designed for us an attractive front garden in a space that had formerly served as what could best be pegged a carprenter ant colony. Their expertise gave us an area worth having, worth viewing. A beautiful stone-block wall and a selection of lovely plants, all laid-out and executed expertly. My only regret is that I had hired Mountain View years ago . . . Thank you.

I am hiring a new company next year. For a brief while the mowing was fantastic, suddenly it is horrible. I try to express to some of the workers, they barley speak English (which does not matter to me like that, however if I need to talk to them about a concern it is quite difficult). Chris doesn't return calls in a timely matter. Very inconsistent mowing, and even worse weed whacking. Will not use again.

In addition to failing to provide a proposal that accurately accounted for the grade of the property, requiring significant last minute design changes if I had continued to engage their services, MVL showed poor attention to detail and lack of responsibility in developing a realistic proposal for my project. My inquiries on other issues including drainage and paving near septic systems brought to light additional oversights in safety, quality, compliance, and cost . MVL has failed to acknowledge their error except in a reluctant and defensive offer to absorb the additional costs of redesigning the patio. After my multiple failed attempts at communication, MVL has refused my request to refund my deposit although no excavation was done, no materials were delivered, and completion of the deck stairway was delayed and is still incomplete as a result of MVL's miscalculation. Legal advice indicates that Mountain View's own language in their written "agreement" allows for the refturn of deposit with "cause" and that there is more than enough evidence for 'cause' in this set of circumstances since the patio cannot be built as initially planned and agreed upon. I'd like other potential customers to be aware and avoid a similar disappointing experience with this company.
