+ -1 moreGerry and his team, Warren and Jim, were a pleasure to work with. Their level of detail, attention to quality and pre-planning got our kitchen renovation done on schedule. They were very helpful with the layout design and brought good ideas to our attention. As a general contractor Gerry had the balls rolling in a timely fashion. Ideal suggested specific suppliers and subcontractors that were all very helpful and attentive. Here's a list: Hick's Plumbing LLC Deperio Electric Hartford Granite & Marble Modern Plumbing Supply Custom Floors Lyons & Billiard We would recommend Gerry and Ideal Contractors for your renovation projects....big or small.
Description of Work: Remove two walls, remove paddle fan with lights, remove baseboard heat, install new cabinets, install new heater, install new recessed lighting, install under-cabinet lighting, install new quartz countertops, install backsplash, install new sink and faucet, install new floor, install all new wood trim, paint existing cabinets, paint all wood trim and molding, paint ceiling.

Description of Work: Total gut job of our main bathroom. Older home so lots could go wrong and some things did, like removing 6 layers of floor. Now totally done and beautiful. Gerry and Steve did a great job. Steve did a lot of the finish work and is top notch, very through and does a total cleanup each night.

+ -1 moreHe spent almost an hour, including quite a bit of time on the roof. He answered all of our questions and there was no charge. I was relieved that he didn't try to sell us a new roof, because that's one of his primary lines of business.
Description of Work: Checked roof for leaks because of stains on second floor ceiling. Said roof was fine and stains probably resulted from snow getting into attic louver on north side of house.
