I hired Chris Fischer of C F Fischer Building back in 2001. I happened upon his yellow pages listing via the internet well before Angie's List. Having had a few other contractors to my house and providing me with little if any real help, I lucked out to contact Chris. Without any real sense of his expertise or reputation, I hired him to re-side my old 1850 farmhouse, drastically in need of a facelift. From the get go, I was impressed with Chis' work. He was able to solve issues of rough and odd edges in terms of my little school house with extreme attention to detail. That's what is so obvious about Chris. He never cuts corners. If anything, he goes beyond the work required - a perfectionist. And he tried to provide me with every avenue to save money. He has worked on multi-million dollar homes as well as little places such as mine. He applies the same work-ethic, craftsmanship, and attention to detail to all his projects. Additionally, he cares about keeping his van organized, the work area clean, and is mindful of those who reside while work is going on. He is very considerate and genuinely a nice person to be around. And, he does not smoke!!!! Chris' work is top-notch. The best I have seen, and I'm very detail-oriented, picky. Because of what he did for me initially, I have hired him to do the work listed above and we have continued our work relationship for 10 years. I've been a project manager for several construction sites and I've not seen anyone who meets Chris' standards in terms of quality, fairness in price, and work ethic. I recommend him enthusiastically. I wouldn't use anyone else.
