From asking around looking for a structural engineer the price for just to inspect one area in a house is pricey for any engineer you choose, but i went with Adam Taddonie,P.E. very professional, scheduling an appointment amd getting final results of inspection wasnt a long wait and hasel.

Adam answered all questions my contractor had when he came to my house. He was not in a rush to leave. He was extremely helpful and I feel that my money was well spent.

Adam exceeded our expectations. He contacted me within 10 minutes and set a time for the very next day. He spent a very long time with us going through every detail. His insight helped us make a very big decision. We will use him again in the future.

Adam was punctual and personable. He was genuinely interested in my project and future projects. It was a pleasure working with him.

Adam seemed to know what he was talking about and ultimately delivered what we asked for. While trying to setup a time to meet, he didn't seem as flexible as I'd like. Making plans he used a lot of coulds, shoulds, and maybes which I found a bit frustrating. His final inspection report came with several spelling errors (which he swiftly fixed upon my request), but it was essentially what we needed from him. In the end it was good value for the price, so I've rated him at a very fair 4 stars. Personally I used him to inspect structural damage in the basement of an investment property I was interested in. I don't think Adam realized the role he was playing (I was in a position to make or lose hundreds of thousands of dollars). He is definitely a legitimate P.E. but I think he lacked a certain professionalism and is perhaps just doing this as a weekend job. At this time I would definitely recommend him for smaller less critical inspections, such as home repairs/improvements.

I wanted to remove a wall in my home and but wanted consultation from a structural engineer to determine if it would be safe to do so. Luckily Adam was able to come out the same day. He was very friendly and explained everything as he did the inspection so I could understand how he was making his assessment. Happily I was able to remove the wall and I now know which walls I could alter in the future and which would require additional structural support. I would absolutely recommend Adam's services.

I'm buying a house! Experienced eyes only come from lots of experience. Adam's day job is inspecting the structural integrity of our roads and bridges. You want a real licensed engineer setting their eyes on your potential home, to tell you if foundation cracks are a structural issue or not, not a licensed home inspector or carpenter! ( who would have charged me MORE than Adam did!) In 1/2 hr of filling out online form he called me. Came out next day! Answered all my questions and even dug up corners of driveway meeting the house to educate me about the issues- and offersd solutions. I'm buying a home thanks to Adam.
