Description of Work: Deck replacement of boards and blasters brought up to code. Some different wood lengths used so must be replaced, railing on stairs wiggles??? Railing did not have a good visual appeal so we had to order more wood to cover,?? Not aprofessional job. Having some of the work redone.

Description of Work: He picked up a used oven 40 miles away and installed it into my home. He had to switch out the plug on the ovens and he then hauled away my old oven.

Description of Work: He was very unprofessional in the sense that he came, gave a quote, only did partial work and never returned my various phone costs. Disappointing. So now, I am left with finding someone to do the work that Andy said he was going to do. Oh well.

Called to get a quote. Andy was friendly and professional. He was punctual in his visit to review the work, and in giving us an estimate and advise concerning the work.
Description of Work: Andy's of Andy's Handyman Service only provided a quote, but it was competitive, helpful, and responsive. Only scheduling lead us to choose another provider. We will be calling Andy, again, for future projects. Also, we noticed that many of the home improvement contracting firms or individuals listed aren't licensed, actively or at all, according to CT's on-line licensing database. Andy is.

He did a fine job on the roof. He lowered his price to match a better price estimate. He was punctual and efficient, as well as professional. There were several other jobs he was to do: repair the garage doors, and replace some roped windowsills. He ever showed up although we had several appointments made by phone. This is unacceptable.

He is very polite and courteous. We have used him for several things in the past two years. He has reasonable pricing. He listens to our needs and is helpful. He is very accommodating to us and considerate of the fact that we have a small child.
Description of Work: He repaired a portion of a wall for us and did some repairs in our bathroom.
