Description of Work: Removed old composite decking, removed old framing and reframed with better support, installed new PVC decking as well as composite railing. I also had them replace the vinyl siding on one side of my house as well as the flashing around the french doors and they did an excellent job with that as well.

Description of Work: The services were provided by Sigel Brothers' roofer, Mario Cruz. He and his partner removed snow and ice jams from our roof. They arrived ahead of schedule, and we were very satisfied with the results. They did a good job of clearing walkways of snow when they were done.

Description of Work: Repeated phone calls to try to set appointment, no return calls. When I finally spoke to Joe (I called) we agreed to meet at my house, never showed and no phone call. Followed up with phone call about 30 minutes after ni show at meeting, Joe said "sorry, it slipped my mind"

Description of Work: The gentlemen arrived on a Friday, took measurements, discussed what needed to be done and said they would email me an estimate by the following Monday or Tuesday. When I received nothing I called the following Friday and left a phone message. A couple of days later I received a phone call informing me the measurements had been misplaced and they might have to return for more measurements. I finally recieved the estimate by email. I liked both gentlemen, however I feel uncomfortable hiring unorganized contractors.

Description of Work: I requested an estimate for siding for our house. the owner came the same day that we talked on the phone. he was professional and thorough. The estimate was more than reasonable. We have decided to continue to paint the house. If Iwe decide to go with vinal siding, would use Sigel Brothers.

 + -1 moreJohn subcontracts with an excellent taper/painter to do this work. His work was exzcellent; he came early every day; cleaned up at the end of each day; was very open to re-doing any area that needed re-doing. We were very happy with the sub-contractor in all aspects.
Description of Work: Replaced about 1/2 of the ceiling in the living room, taped and painted ceiling and walls. Repaired cracks in ceiling in family room. Painted cathedral style ceiling and walls.

 + 7 moreOur overall experience was wonderful! What a pleasant experience it was to deal with such young professional experienced contractors. We had seen some of the quality of work that The Sigel Brothers had done and decided to have them give us a quote on our addition and upgrading. We found them to be very professional and knowledgable about all of our concerns and questions. The quote that they gave us was very reasonable so we hired them. It was the way they explained everything to us that meant a lot. They used high quality products and their workmanship was perfect. Our original plan was to remodel and add onto the house I grew up in but plans needed to be altered due to the fact that we sold our other house faster than anticipated. The Sigel Brothers were very accommodating and reworked the original construction schedule so we could at least move into the house. As time went on we found more and more things that we wanted to upgrade or remodel and they just kept on making it all happen. Nothing was ever too much for them to handle. They were always very courteous and always went above and beyond. After their job was done for the day they cleaned everything up as if they were not even here. They guarantee all of their work and I will continue to hire them for any additional jobs I have. I have highly recommended The Sigel Brothers to family and friends and will continue to do so.
Description of Work: A 27 x 30 addition was added onto our ranch home. The addition included a master bedroom, a workout area, a full bath with jacuzzi tub, huge walk in closet and a wash room. A 14 x 16 deck was also added on with access from the laundry room. Beautiful tile work in the bathroom and the laundry room. Hard wood flooring throughout the bedroom and closet. A new roof on the existing house. Replacement windows on all small window and a new bow window totally replaced. New gutters and downspouts. Removed shingles and installed vinyl siding. Gutted entire kitchen and installed drywall, cabinets, countertops and tile floor. Installed new baseboards and trim work throughout entire house. Installed all new doors--interior and exterior, including sliders. Conformed 2 bedrooms into a den. installed new ceiling in den. New railings on existing porch and built an entire new back porch.

 + 5 morethey have sided two houses of mine, installed windows in three houses, completed four roofs, built 3 new bathrooms and 5 new bedrooms, fixed one damaged garage, and remodeled two kitchens over the past 4 years, I trust them alot and so should you, they are not your average deadbeat contractor.
