My non-emergency work was scheduled promptly.  Mike was prompt and polite.  He explained what he found and what he needed to do.  He even helped adjust the speed of the blower fan, which helped reduce noise!

Our forced air heating/cooling system was making a whistling noise whenever the heat or air conditioning came on. East Coast Mechanical came out at the scheduled time and quickly dagnosed the situation, determining that the issue was a faulty motor to the damper for the second floor zone. He did not have the replacement motor in stock and needed to order it and indicated it would take several days. In the meantime he disconnected the motor from the damper which alleviated the annoying whistle we were getting while still leaving the heating and cooling functional. 
In a few days we were informed the damper motor was in and we scheduled an appointment for November 12, 2014. They arrived well within the specified window and replaced the damper motor in minutes.

Arrived on time.  I was informed of the issue.  The equipment was fixed and serviced all within an hour.

System was recharged, evaporator coil dirty sealed Unit . Needs replacing old system. Technician was very professional and knowledgeable. And honest he recommended updating system due to compressor is getting weak and it wouldn't be cost effective to pull a part evaporator coil to clean old system.

Installation was on time and completed the same day as promised. Price was very reasonable compared to the other two companies that submitted quotes.

Salesmen was informative, polite and accommodating. Installation crew clean and courteous.

Service went well; Mike was knowledgeable and was efficient at fixing the issue. We will be contacting them again at end of season to find and fix the leaking coolant. Thanks again

We have a Ductless Air Conditioning system installed just over a year ago by the same company.  It has been terrific.  The company did a great job installing and was easy to work with.  Oddly it stopped working last month.  THey had to come out 3 times to get the problem fixed.  It was all covered under warrenty and service contract (which oops I had forgotten to buy at the end of the year but they offered me on the phone before the guy came out so the work was all free thank goodness!).  They had to do quite  a bit of detective work iwth the company and reprogramming and we are back in business with a functioning unit!

A year ago, a part suffered a crack and leaked out all of the refrigerant, requiring replacement and new refrigerant which repair was carried out rapidly and to my complete satisfaction by the same excellent technician.

It should be noted that when we moved to the area and bought our house years ago, there was no air conditioning in it. Because my wife and I are relatively severely allergic to pollen, etc, we don't tolerate leaving windows and doors open for breezes to blow through the house. We knew we needed better than average whole  house A-C. We investigated special filters in A-C units for such medical problems, and we chose East Coast Mechanical because they were noted to be dealers for the best such special filtering A-C systems that we could find. The final system we chose cost significantly more because of the special ultrafine filtration unit fitted into the basic A-C system. The entire project went smoothly over just 2 days, came in on budget, and has worked very well for us for the past 7 years. We chose to purchase the annual maintenance program and have been well satisfied.

I would absolutely recommend this company and if we should move to another house we will be calling them to check out the situation in the new place.
