Joel was great and diagnosed the problem through questions via text. He knew what part was needed but unfortunately the supply company was not open until Monday so I went without heat for 2 days. He arrived on Monday morning with the replacement part and soon after, I had heat. He was very knowledgeable and professional and answered all my questions. If you are looking for an HVAC technician, Joel is your guy. He is professional, knowledgeable, responsive, punctual, and reasonably priced. We are new to the area and when our furnace went out in late November at 9 PM at night with two kids under 2, we didn't know who to call. We reached out to multiple companies and only Joel was able to come that night and help. He's been extremely reliable ever since. He replaced our furnace and AC unit at a fair price better than other estimates we received. And given the situation with COVID, he's also always worn a mask and taken all reasonable precautions. I had called his company in the late afternoon and left a message. He returned my phone call on his way home from work, offering to give us an appointment the following day. But when I explained that my mother was elderly and feeling so cold, he made an exception to help her, out of the goodness of his heart (despite the fact that it delayed his own dinner.) While he was here, Joel was extremely courteous and efficient, and was able to make the repair quickly and professionally. Within half an hour of his visit, my motherâ s home was toasty warm and she was smiling gratefully!! I would definitely recommend J. M. Curtis Energy Solutions! Thank you.

Joel (the owner) was on time, professional, knowledgable, respectful, genuine, and very personable. After inspecting the a.c. unit, he took the time to explain and show me how me why it had to be replaced. His price was competitive, but his professionalism and "trustable personality" is why I chose him to do the work. When doing the work, he was on time, clean, respectful of my home, and kept me advised of his progress. Give JM Curtis a call, you wont regret it. He is the only call I'll make in the future.

My central AC unit broke down in a hot day. I called multiple contractors, but no one could provide service in the next a few days except Joel. Joel understood my urgency and was able to help on the same day which was his off-work day. He trouble-shot the issue and fixed the problem within about an hour. His charge is also reasonable. I have confidence in him and plan to hire him again in my future AC repair.

Joel is truly a lifesaver! Our AC broke recently, so my fiancé and I called Joel up and he stopped over same day after hours to take a look. He got the parts that were needed the following day, and spent 8+ hours in the heat setting it up. The AC works better than ever now and we are so happy! I expected to have to replace my condensing unit due the compressor not starting. Joel came did some testing added refrigerant to the system. Found a small leak and the system works perfectly. Great value and honest company.

I communicated with Joel over the phone since I was away when my heater stopped working. He was polite, responsive and easy to work with. After discussing initial diagnosis of the problem and possible repair options we ended up with replacing the gas furnace. His price was reasonable and he accommodated his schedule to install a new gas furnace during the New Year holiday. This morning I had to call Joel because the furnace was making some sporadic noise and I asked him to check it out for me. Honestly, I was hoping for him to look at it within a few days. He came to the house within 2 hours or so and took his time to find out the cause of the sporadic noise (he said apparently some loose metallic parts touching each other when the variable speed motor shifts to high speed mode making a banging noise). He said he tightened the loose parts to fix the problem. I am impressed with his timely response, professionalism and honesty. I recommend him for similar repairs and installations.
