The service turned out very well. We were happy with the product. When they installed they could have done a nicer job as they left some of the remanence of the previous fiberglass insulation. They did leave strips on the beams and that could look nicer with a little more attention to detail. We were happy with the service overall. The cost of the service was fine but the product was pricey for what it was.

Work was done very professionally. Very respectfuly of our house. No mess left. Reviewed what was done and gave us ample time to review with him. His staff was also very polite, worked hard and were very neat.I'm not one for keeping records of how efficient our home was being heated and cooled but can attest that it was noticeable more uniformly warm durring the winter and that the house stayed much cooler this past summer than years before, especially the upstairs.. I believe this product really works!

Though billed as an energy audit, it was indeed that (though not as extensive as I had imagined) but was as well a paid sales estimate for a relatively new form of reflective insulation (at least in this area). Nevertheless, he was professional and not at all pushy and the product seemed to have its good points. However, upon subsequent review of professional literature I opted to stay with a more traditional product (fiberglass) because I could imagine that a potential home buyer would have similar concerns. If subsequent professional reviews supported use of this product I would consider it.

I think it seems like a fine business. I didn't get anything from them other than they come out and look up in my attic and look in my basement. He seem a reputable and a good guy but they didn't do any work for me.

Job was very well, per plan. Mr. Brown and helper arrived promptly at 7:00 A.M. (attic crawl pace is a h***-hole when the sum comes up!) Job was complete by 9:00 A.M. Solar fan works well when most needed. Solar controller very good also had 110v backup for cloudy times if temperature exceeds 80 degrees. Reflective insulation also very effective.

He was very thorough and gave me great energy saving ideas for our 120 year old home!

The installers showed up on time and even with some difficulties that presented themselves that day they finished the job in style and on time. There were some thing to the job that were unforeseen still they took it in stride and did the right thing because it was the right thing to do. I know my house was probably the most difficult attic they have done up to that point very tight quarters and very hot and they did a great job. If I have a question or concern I call the owner and I get to talk to him right away or within a short time. We choose the Radiant barrier over blow in cellulose because it is so much cleaner and I can still use my knee wall section for storage and mildew and dust are not a problem. It does exactly as I was told and I will higher them again when it comes time insulate some other parts to our home. We are defiantly keeping cooler on the hot days so I know we will be warmer on the colder days of winter.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. We have actually purchased the Big Deal twice. Once was about two years ago. The quote seemed good but we didn't have the money at the time. He seemed pretty good. We liked him and we were impressed with the product. He had a fair amount of literature for us to review. He was totally satisfactory. The price seemed good. The report could have been a little more thorough. He was pretty responsive. We purchased the second one by mistake and he remembered me. He emailed me and said that he thought it would be the same and he would refund my money. He didn't refund it but it was cheap so we didn't think anything more about it. He seemed legit. We are thinking about getting the service in the future.

Bill was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job with the installation. I am also very happy with the price. He showed up on time and performed the installation very quickly and professionally with minimal mess. I was also impressed with the quality of the Attic Fan itself which comes with a 5 year warranty. Bill also provided the paper work needed to obtain a 30% tax credit. I highly recommend giving Bill a call to see how he can make your home more efficient.

Our house has no A/C and while I had insulated some pipes and the water heater we wanted to install reflective insulation in the attic. We called Bill and he set a date to drop by and take a look at our house. He arrived on time with his colleague (Dean) and they took a look around the house - checked the attic, basement, windows, doors. He pointed out that we had some wet insulation and suggested that we replace that section. He provided a detailed breakdown of the costs for the tasks we were interested (as opposed to a single price for everything) and set a date for the work to be done. That day he and Dean arrived on time and got to work - Bill changed the thermostats and showed us how they worked. Dean worked on the rest of the tasks - changing our the fibreglass insulation, instling the reflective insulation and wrapping the pipes. Both of them were very professional, cleaned up as they went and overall did an excellent job. While winters' coming to an end, the temperatures were still low enough that we saw immediate benefits - better temperature control, with the upstairs remaining staying toasty. Overall, it looks like a good investment (we're waiting to see the effect in the summer as we hope that the upstairs will be cooler by a few degrees) and it was a pleasure to work with Bill and Dean and I'd certainly use their services in the future

He is very knowledgeable and was easy to talk to. He is friendly and was prompt with the estimate and follow. I would definitely use his services in future and would definitely recommend to my friends.

They were very responsive and professional. The man who came out even noticed a draft coming in and raised the threshold in the doorway for me. That itself was worth $29.00. I have decided to hold off on the work he recommended though.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was certainly not a worthwhile service and not something that I would recommend to anyone else. All they did was come out and test to see how the house was. They were supposed to do a $75 credit which just wasn't applicable to my house. The inspection they did was offered for free on their website. They did provide the service that I purchased. It was a general check but it wasn't really thorough. They looked in the attic and the basement. They were very responsive.

The state-of-the-art reflective residential insulation materials (all fabricated in the USA) were delivered in advance ready for immediate use in the project upon the crew's arrival. From the time they arrived to the time they cleaned up and departed, they all worked non-stop! The guys worked steadily, with no loud music or trivial banter: they just got stuck into the work and stayed with it until everything was completed. Each step of the project was explained to us in advance and the company did not deviate from the plan. No hype. No unfulfilled promises. When I strolled through the project areas, they welcomed me and enthusiastically demonstrated each stage of the project and the rationale for it. This company is thoroughly ethical and trustworthy. We would definitely hire them again and recommend them unreservedly to Angie's List members (and will do so to our friends and neighbors as well). The company earns a very solid "A." Theirs will not be the cheapest quote you will get. But the value for money quotient is high. That old adage, "You get what you pay for," certainly holds true in this case. We firmly believe that we got what we paid for... and then some. The installation is among the very best I have seen in any home.

Mr. Brown is personable and professional; he promptly returned phone calls and followed through on his commitments. On his first visit, he focussed his energy assessment on my third floor, as I had had an energy consultant last year and had already followed through on a number of those suggestions. I was primarily interested, at this time, in increasing the insulation for the third floor living spaces, as the previous consultant had suggested. Bill demonstrated the effectiveness of a new (to me) insulating product with a fixture he had made himself. His sales technique was decidedly low-key as the demonstration was very effective, and I asked him to give me an estimate for covering both the flat part of the attic but also as much as he could of the space between the roof rafters which were also made up the slanted portion of the third floor rooms' ceilings (due to the cross-bracing of the old house's construction, complete coverage of the bays between these rafters was not possible.). When he emailed the estimate, I was a bit taken aback; having a 'guestimate when he was demonstrating his product would have been helpful and it took me a little time to decide and put together the finances. HOwever, once I did and sent the deposit, he promptly scheduled the work for the following week. The crew arrived at the time we had agreed and quickly set to work.The work was done in a very short time and the crew was both professional and did a good job cleaning up the finger prints afterwards (100 year-old attics are really dirty!). There was a noticeable increase in heat retention and comfort in the third floor rooms within a short time - minutes!- of completing the installation. . The price seemed high but if it performs as promised, it should pay for itself within a few years. Time will tell!

meOn his initial visit, Bill Brown (owner) did a complete and through energy inspection of our entire home. He clearly demonstrated where and how his radiant barrier should go, how it would keep our home warmer in winter and cooler in summer, thereby providing us a 20% or more energy savings. He agreed to provide with a quotation by that evening and he did! Upon reviewing his proposal, I called and set up a date and time for work to start. He and a helper started on 1/31/13 and finished on 2/1/13 (we had a very large area to insulate). The job he did was professional, clean, on time (with good communication) and definitely a great value! Right away, I find that my rooms heat up quicker than before and that hot/cold spots between the rooms has been eliminated. I would highly recommend Bill and his company, Eco Energy Guard, LLC, to anyone needing to insulate their attic and save money. Again, he was professional, prompt, clean, courteous, hard working and provided an excellent valued job. Kudos to Bill, a dedicated professional who was a pleasure to work with.

My experience with Eco Energy Guard was excellent. Bill Brown was knowlegeable and wasn't a hard sell. The products really sold themselves. I wanted to save money on energy bills (electric, oil, and water) and I am pleased to say that I am! Because of radiant barrier insulation in my attic (over my existing insulation) my home is cooler is the summer and the central air conditioning doesn't have to work as hard. The second floor stays much cooler and is now able to maintain its cooler temperatures! In the winter, I know the house isn't losing heat like it used to! We are warmer without having crank the heat and waste expensive oil! It was simple retrofit and the job was completed professionally by Bill and his very nice crew. I chose to have a solar attic fan installed too, and I believe this is helping so much too! The house was impeccable after they finished their job. Bill and his crew were also very punctual. The Water Miser is the newest product and it's working like a charm too! I'm saving gallons of water...and with 5 people in the family we use a lot of water...and I don't notice any difference AT ALL in the water pressure. I'm grateful for this product too. Anything Eco Energy Guard works with and installs is QUALITY. It's that simple. I am so happy that I know about this company as Bill is all about conserving energy and bringing products to the public that can help conserve energy and save us money at the same time! That's an awesome thing!

He called me when I purchased it, & wanted to do it that day. I set up and appointment for Friday which was more convenient for me. He did not show up for the appointment when I called him he said he would call to reschedule over the weekend and I never heard back from him.

Not well- the estimate I received via Bill's I-phone had no detail. In an email I asked for more specificity and have not heard anything. I am not comfortable and will look for another company after the holidays. In reply to Bill's response, I emailed you. You never replied via email or phone.

Eco Energy was professional and provided a quality product. The representative was informative and knowledgeable. We opted not to have the insulation installed. Please note that the decision was not due to any disfavor with Eco Energy, they were great.

If we decide to move forward with the service we will be sure the share the experience. I am sure it will be a positive one, just based on the estimate visit.

The representative was very professional, but it was just not what I was looking for at the time. It sounded like a good product, but the cost was a concern for me.
