Description of Work: Insulated the attic and installed a solar fan on the roof to exhaust the heat which is checked by a remote control in the house. Also, added a "toilet tummy" and installed new shower head both to conserve water. We are now more "green." Bill is friendly and the work was done neatly. Yes we would recommend him to others.

Description of Work: I needed all the attic insulation replaced after having mold abatement done, so I decided to try Angie's List to find a top quality installer. Bill replied that same day and we set up an appointment. He showed up on time and understood my concerns and needs. He even pointed out several areas that were not don't properly by the original contractor. We discussed some options, and I decided to add a layer of reflective insulation on top of the new R30 fiberglass. That is already keeping the 2nd floor much cooler, glad I added that. The job went flawlessly, and I couldn't have asked for a more polite and carefull crew. I've decided to have him come back again and install a solar attic fan too, which will give me the ultimate attic ventilation system! Bill is a true professional, honest and very detail oriented, and demands the same of his crew. Look no further, Eco Energy Guard should be your first call.

He patiently answered my dozens of questions before I contracted with him to install attic insulation and a radiant barrier. | |Bill performed the work himself and was incredibly detail oriented. He went above and beyond what I expected, noting some improvements that could be made with additional insulation and took care of it on the spot. Description of Work: Bill came to the house and gave us a demonstration of the energy saving material. He then did a complete inspection of the house and showed us areas of obvious (and less obvious) energy loss. He described what could be done to improve it. He provided a written estimate by email very promptly and was available to answer questions about it. We scheduled a return visit for installation. Bill and his associate arrived almost on time, they were clean and performed precisely what was on the estimate. At the end of the work they did show us all that they had done. I had to make a follow up call that evening to Bill and he was immediately available and solved the problem over the phone. Overall I was very pleased with this service and with Bill. We did notice a difference in terms of areas of drafts and our heat being on for shorter periods of time to maintain the desired temperature. We look forward to seeing lower gas and electric bills.

Description of Work: I expected to receive a professional energy assessment with recommendations. I found it to be a waste and time and money. The guy was here for about 10 minutes, indicated that there wasn't much the company could do for me. I asked him about weaterstripping for my front door, as this was a problem no one else had been able to address. He said he'd look into it and get back to me, but he never did. The boss did place a follow up call to me. However, I didn't complain to him.

Description of Work: Within hours after buying this deal, I was contact by the owner. We made an appointment for several days later, and he arrived punctually. After some discussion about energy saving concepts and his insulation, I agreed to have my attic area insulated with the Eco Energy Guard product. My finished attic space nears 100 in the summer and 50 in the winter, and paying to cool or heat it is expensive. For about $2500, about 2500 square feet of exposed wall space under the roof was insulated. Because of temperate weather since installation, I haven't yet been able to quantify my savings. Installation began 1 day after the initial meeting, and was finished one day later. Impressive.

Description of Work: I had them insulate the attic with something that looked liked aluminum foil. I was skeptical but willing to give it a try as I needed insulation in the attic for the winter. I am amazed at how much cooler the house is this summer. It made a huge difference and I only need the ceiling fans most of the time. Well worth the money just for the cooling advantage. I do air condition the bedroom and It seemed to cut down on the compressor run time. I have a ranch with cathedral ceilings. They could not do over the high ceilings. Very professional and not a pressure sales pitch.

Description of Work: The owner came to our house, did an evaluation, and we decided to go with this product. We were impressed with him and his crew, their pride in the work they had done, and the speed and efficiency they displayed. We have not yet had the chance to evaluate the effectiveness of the product, but believe it was a good choice for our leaky old house.
