Description of Work: Installed a Mitsubishi heat pump for heating and cooling my home. Work included mounting the outside unit on the wall so it would be clear of any debris from mowers, etc & also the inside unit, wiring done by a licensed electrician, and a complete tutorial on running the unit. Bid also included a rebate from CL&P so the actual cost was closer to $3200 once it is paid out.

 + 0 moreFrom the start (the quote) to the end (finished and installed system) Hometown was a great company to work with. The estimator was punctual, courteous, and professional. He walked my wife and I through the options for replacing our boiler. He was knowledgeable about the various systems in a myriad of price points. His bid was one of seven that we collected to start the work. When the team showed up to do the work they were right on time (they gave me a 30 min window of when they would arrive) and they finished the work within the time window they offered (they said they would finish between 3 and 4 pm). They were very clean (there was no evidence of the old system, dirt or water when they left). The new unit is quieter (as the salesman said it would be), and more efficient (again, as promised). My wife and I were very pleased with how smooth the whole process went.
Description of Work: Peter and his team removed our old boiler and water heater and installed a new tankless boiler. While they were working they (at no additional cost) fixed a radiator valve that was leaking.
