* STAY AWAY* The job was given to this company based on references given by customers, The main reason I choose them was the owner Mauro gave a 10 year warranty on the paint job against peeling when he used maddog primer. After 2 years my house began to peel. I contact them and spoke to a Barbara and Mauro called. I told about the peeling and he said he would come and see. He never should up and Barbara jerked me around for almost 2 years. They are dishonest and unprofessional!

The deck maintenance job was performed less than two years ago and my deck is now peeling the "stain" that was applied by 100 in 1 Home Services. The company stated I would not have any issues for five years. The original deck coating was Behr's Deckover which had essentially peeled off of most of the deck. I had asked 100 in 1 Home Services to remove the residual Deckover and then stain the deck. They hand sanded off the little Deckover that remained and only that part of the deck. I asked if they would prep the deck, e.g. power wash before they applied the stain but the company said it was not necessary. I was skeptical as most of the deck wood was gray and some areas showed signs of mold. I also asked that they not stain the deck until we returned from vacation so we could see what was being done. This instruction was not followed and they stained the deck while we were gone. Less than a year later the deck showed signs of peeling and I called the company to look at. I was surprised that it peeled so soon and the underlying wood showed no signs of "staining". The company said that perhaps some areas of the deck had had some moisture before the stain was applied and did not penetrate the wood. On these freshly appearing bare spots they reapplied some of the stain that was used the previous year. Now here it is less than two years later and large sections of the 100 in 1 Home Services applied deck stain are peeling off. It continues to get worse. Did all the deck then have too much moisture? Why wouldn't this have been known beforehand and dealt with. I am skeptical that too much moisture in the wood was responsible and believe lack of prepping the deck before stain application also was a major contributing factor. In any event this deck service fell way below my expectations. Unfortunately, I will have now to redo my deck.

We contacted the company for an estimate. They were kind enough to wait a bit when I was running late from work. They provided a reasonable estimate and were patient when it came time for us to make a decision (as we had other companies to decide from). I then contacted Barbara - it did take some time for me to hear back from them (I assume they are very busy being a small company) but she was always pleasant and ensured to calendar our requests. Mauro (the owner) came for a final once over and even began patching that same afternoon (which was yesterday) we provided a 50% deposit to cover costs for supplies etc. and they actually began prep work today (patching some small nail holes). He explained he would be bringing in a few guys because it was a larger job - entire house interior less the master area - and that he anticipated being done by Wednesday. I am shocked they could get it all done that quickly but I am happy that it will be ready before the holidays. We left him the garage button to our home and allowed him entrance as both my husband and I work full time. Mauro is a very kind man and very honest. With that being said, I feel the work was rushed and done with no concern for tidyness and accuracy. The team and Mauro keep insisting they have completed two coats on our walls but it is clear they have not. They have gotten paint splatter all over the floors of my entire house (some wipe marks where they have spilled). They had ensured they would be using drop cloths and plastics... I saw one in the entire house. Their lines were not accurate where needed (edging) and they got paint all over the place, on my furniture, on my wood floors, steps, railings. I mean it honestly looks like they just rushed to get in and out. Once they advised they were done, I insisted they come back on Friday after surprising them by coming home early on Wednesday afternoon (day before a holiday). I should not have to spend my evenings every evening pointing out missed spots, errors, places that needed to be touched up because I can see the white still of the walls - the previous color, I mean if this is their job I should not have to do all this. Now that they are gone, my husband and I are left cleaning up their mess. I had to reclean and polish all my floors because there is paint all over them. Tiles and wooden floors. Door knobs, handles, etc. We are going to end up having to call Mauro back to touch up spots all over the house. In all honesty, we need him hear bright and early and going each wall inch by inch to ensure they did their job properly. I understand there is human error which is fine but use two coats and paint all trim. They didnt even use a small brush for the edges, just the same large brush which is why the paint was all over..... I wouldnt use him for a paint job again.

I had a experience dealing with them. Over the phone my husband discussed the work and what we wanted and what the guy agreed to do. One coat of primal, two coats of paint. He came the next night, we signed a contract and in the contract he said he;ll do one coat primal and in the primal put pain and then I will put another coat of paint. We looked at each other with my husband and I started getting upset. We asked him how many he's gonna wait or dry after the power wash because we agreed over the phone that he's gonna wait for four days he said it's not necessary, he'll do it two days and he started rushing. I had a private talk with my husband and we ended up not singing a deal with him. He was asking on top of everything 50% of the money and he said that he has to buy the paint and why does he have to pay the materials out of his pocket. When he said that it was more than obvious for me an my husband that we will not give the job for that guy. He does not have social skills and he do not make his customers happy even though he tells that that's what he wants to do. He's a very stubborn guy and he does not listen to the customer. I would never do business with that guy.
