We had Boutin come out about 8 years ago and they did a fantastic job. I called them last week to get a quote for to have an area paved where we park which is about 15' X 60'. We also needed a couple areas patched. I was told on the phone at first that the job was "too small for our 8 person crew" and then the lady told me they would have an estimator come look at it but he was booked two weeks out. That's fine and was a week ago. Well, I got a phone call from them today saying that they came out yesterday (a Sunday) and looked at it and they had to pass due to it being a small job. So did they come out? Who knows but they didn't even offer any options of anyone who could do a "small job" like this. I get it that you are a local company and are busy with large jobs. I like to support local companies as well as Veteran owned companies as a Vet myself. But I think this is where I stop telling people about this company when I get asked

We signed a contract on Spring of 2020, agreed upon a price and signed a contract . Stated they would come in July 2020. Called 7/31 and the person who answers the phone said we weren’t on the schedule! Horrible customer service . They don’t call you back and don’t answer questions . Refused our work because I was upset on the phone . Terrible service . Do not use .

I scheduled an appointment on a Thursday to have an estimate done on 2 adjoining driveways to be replaced at the same time. When the estimator showed up he stated only one was scheduled and he couldn't spend the 10 minutes doing the other because he had to go elsewhere for others even though BOTH were CONFIRMED with his office. He said he would come back the next day if he had time or next week if not. My neighbor took time off from work to be there for the estimate and was totally angry that he couldn't take the time to do them both . I had mine done and then called the office to tell them what happened. The girl that scheduled the appointment confirmed that BOTH DRIVEWAYS should have been done. I told them we would NOT have them do the job at any cost because of what happened and the estimator didn't have to come back again.

When Bill came for the appointment he was on time and from there everything went downhill! I wanted an estimate to have my driveway paved. The first thing out of Bills mouth was, "wow, did you get a deal on ashault millings! Millings is asphalt that is ground up from highways and parking lots. This is going to be tough. Then Bill said What do you want paved. Now I understand that my driveway is steep but I thought that this is what Boutin did? Well things went downhill from there. My son, who is a landscaper who installs lawns, does irrigation, patios, waterproofing homes and uses lasers to make sure that the water will run away from the buildings, came out to help me plan the looks of the driveway and was quickly met with more attitude from Bill. Like I said things went down from there. Joe was trying to explain to Bill where he wanted the driveway paved and Bill didn't want to hear any of it. Words were said and voices raised as Bill, folded up his distance tool, turned around and left! He LEFT! Bill never even acknowledged me, said goodbye, or gave me any hint that he was just leaving! He was very disrespectful. I ran my own business for 30 plus years and never treated a customer like Bill did! I got no phone call or e-mail stating that Bill was returning or that he had a bad day or anything. I was outraged. I called Boutin and talked to the owner, Joe, and what I got was, "gee, that doesn't sound like Bill at all!" Joe made excuses saying that they don't like doing steep driveways or driveways that have millings on them BUT he would come out and look at it. Look at it! I don't want them on my property. Why would I want him to come out when he just told me that they don't want to do "MY" kind of driveway? What I want him to come out and give me an overinflated price? He made excuses for Bill which I thought was unheard of and never really said he was sorry for the way Bill acted. He really made me feel like I was making this up that poor Bill might of been having a bad day or something. I had used Boutin for 2 driveways years ago and was very happy with their work and that is why I called them. I will never use them or suggest to anyone I know to use them! I am disgusted with their way of handling this situation. As I said before in all my years in business I NEVER treated a customer like they did EVEN if the customer deserved it!

We have a long gravel driveway with several turns and hills. During a recent downpour, a 30' stretch completely washed out down to the foundation. What a mess! We had a few companies including these guys take a look at putting in new drainage all along the driveway, fixing the gravel base and paving (either with millings or asphalt). These folks were prompt, professional, and very friendly! Very pleasant to work with. We mentioned a future project to build a garage, and these guys were the only ones who told us that we should wait to pave the driveway because the construction equipment for a garage would damage it significantly. Even though it meant we would not be giving them business, he have us an honest and wise recommendation on what do to to make our gravel serviceable for a few years until after the garage project. We got a quote anyway, and it seemed reasonable. We would definitely work with them in the future!

It was a great experience. They quoted us the best price and they did a great job. They even went above and beyond what they were suppose to do. I would highly recommend them.

Everything went well ,they arrived on schedule and did their work. After the first rainstorm, there was an area that did not drain properly, I called them and the next day someone was out to correct the problem. It has been almost a year since the job was done and everything is allright. I am very satisfied with the job..

My experience with them was really good. They did a 50 feet driveway. They sent four or five guys with a bunch of equipment. We were at the top of the hill so it was not an easy setup for the big trucks to to get up there. They did a really nice job. Now, we have a beautiful driveway. They put some curving up along one edge where we needed it as well. Their job looks great! I would absolutely use them again in the future.

We are very happy with the results. The sales rep came out promptly and gave us a very complete estimate. Their price was comparable to other quotes. We were having paver stones put in and they coordinated with the stone company so we didn't have to get involved. The workers were professional and polite. They cleaned up the site after they were done. Would have no problem highly recommending this company.

Boutin and amp; Sons Construction Co had a good reputation in the area so I decided to use them. They do a good job and say when they say they are going to. I never compared their price to anyone else.

They've been around for a long time. I've had them twice over the 4 years I've been here and I've been satisfied.

Mr Boutin showed up promptly and furnished us with a detailed quote. After our decision to move forward, they contacted us the day before to let us know what to expect and removed and carted the existing driveway. The new pack of stone they put done was a drastic improvement over the inferior driveway put down by the original builder of the home. Prior to paving the driveway, we drove on it for 2-3 weeks. The crew showed up 2 days ago, and started up their equipment at exactly 8:00am. By the time I left for the office they were already 3/4 of the way finished at 8:40am. Arrival home after 5:00, the driveway looked incredible. 2 1/2 inches of toping, plus the edges all beveled and entries to the walk and garages beautifully done. This morning it had rained and the water ran off the driveway away from the house in beautiful diagonals, it is so well done. I highly recommend Boutin.

Boutin and Sons did a wonderful job in repairing our driveway. They were punctual and professional. The driveway was in bad shape and, as such, they needed to spend a great deal of time resurfacing etc. When they came to do an estimate they gave us several ideas as to how to improve the drainage so that the driveway wouldn't erode as quickly. Throughout the process they always cleaned up after themselves and made sure that the yard suffered no damage. In addition, the driveway suffered from the harsh winter and Boutin and Sons came out to look at it and will be repairing said damage under the warranty. No hassle at all. Great, great company!
