Everything went very well. The problem turned out to be much smaller and easier to fix than I anticipated. Tom did a great job and saved me money in the process.

Contacted them at the beginning of last week and we did play phone tag but did finally speak too Steve the same day. Got a verbal estimate of $200.00 and made an appointment with him for 9/9/16 for him to come and do the work. * I had gotten higher estimates from other plumbers and made calls to other than did not have the decency to return a call. Today he arrived and we spoke briefly and he said the faucet needed to be replaced. I told him that I already had a brand new frost free outside faucet that was never used when we replaced the faucet in the front and could he use it. He said he would take a look at it and if he could he would and he did. He arrived on time and the job was done within half an hour. Because he was able to use the existing new faucet the price was lower than anticipated. I would highly recommend them and I would use them again.

I have used this company in the past and was always happy with the work they did both at my business and my home. I had always dealt with Paula or Steve. I had Steve come out to look at some pipes that needed to be moved in a closet in my basement. He said it could be done but would need to be coordinated with the city as they would have to move the meter. The city set an appointment for 8:15am on April 21st. When I called back on the morning of April 9th to relay this info to Steve I got a voicemail so I left a message. Later that day an older fellow named Tom called and was very confused by the message. I repeated to him several times what had previously transpired and that Steve had been out and knew what was needed except for the time and day. Tom left the conversation saying he would check out the schedule. I never heard back as to whether or not the work was scheduled. On April 14th I saw one of their trucks which made me remember that I needed that appointment confirmed as it is not easy to get these appointments with the city. I called and again Tom answered the phone. I went over why I was calling and again he seemed very confused and not at all aware of anything we had previously discussed. I am not sure why he could not just look up the appointment and let me know then and there whether or not it was scheduled but he went off on this tangent about Steve had been on vacation last week and he didn't know about coordinating with the city and such. I finally lost it and told him I just needed to know if they were showing up or not. Again he starts with the same excuses so I then told him that I also owned a service business and I would likely be out of business if I treated my customers this way. He took offense and told me that he thought that as a business owner I should be more understanding! I am not sure why I should put up with bad service just because I own a business. Well he finally said that Steve would be out on April 21st and as far as I was concerned that was that. Then today (April 15) Tom calls me back. Now he is trying to tell me that when he called me on the afternoon of April 9th that he did schedule the appointment with me then and I must have forgotten. When I asked him if the whole purpose of this phone call was to point out that I was wrong and that if it was his purpose that that was also bad business practice. He then told me to get another plumber. So I did.

I called for service and no one ever returned my calls

We thought we had a leaky pipe, turned out to be a leaky roof, but the plumber was friendly and helped us investigate the issue. Unfortunately, we had to pay to have him come to our house, even though we had no plumbing issue.

Tom arrived at about 9AM, quickly found the leak, and advised me of my options for repair. He worked quickly, replacing the leaky pipes and spigot in less than an hour. The price was reasonable and just about what I had expected. Positano Plumbing is now my permanent and quot;Go Toand quot; plumber.

Quoted approx. on phone when I called at under $300. got there as scheduled and worked quickly. He found a couple of things that we had the choice of leaving or replacing and we chose to replace all for the new setup. Job was completed in under 3 hours and below estimate.

This was a great experience from start to finish. The call for service was handled promply with options discussed over the phone. We came up with a plan and scheduled an appointment. Steve showed up promply as scheduled and immediately went to work. The harder of the 2 jobs went flawlessly and was done quickly. Unfortunately the easier job,snaking the sinkand lt; ran into a stone wall. Steve went way beyond trying to make it work. Unfortunately we will require taking the wall out in the future. He cleaned up and was extremely courtious. It is refreshing to see someone offer old time service without trying to upsell. Can't wait to reccomend when someone need a plumber. He could have charged more and I would have been satisfied.

Somebody I went to school with knew them and said they had done good work in the past and I wanted to try somebody different. They did a good job and took care of things right away. They pretty much came the same day that I called. It was a good price for what I got done. I had some mold because the water had pooled and I didn't know about it. They cut it out for me. They didn't just leave a hole. They cut it nice so it could be patched and stuff. It was good quality.

THEY SEEMED OK TO GET ALONG WITH. THE PROBLEM WAS TAKEN CARE OF QUICKLY. MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THAT THEY DO CHARGE AN INITIAL AMOUNT FOR A SERVICE CALL, PLUS WHATEVER WORK THEY DO. I GUESS I AM HARD TO PLEASE.
