 + -1 moreI highly recommend Don, he is very professional. He called to let me know he was running late. My condo is in the middle of the building and he and his assistant walked all the way around rather than come up into the living space (which was totally not necessary). He cleaned the outside of the dryer as well. I am very happy with the service.

 + -1 moreOur dryer vent is about 30 feet off the ground so it was not easy to clean. The owner and his son did a great job of cleaning the vent and left everything spotless. And the price was very reasonable for a very difficult job. We will call on them again next year.

 + -1 moreDon and his son came out on a Saturday to clean out our dryer vent. We agreed upon the time and date a couple of days before. They were punctual. The dryer vent was cleaned out in about 45 minutes, along with vacuuming out the lint trap in the dryer and cleaning up the outside lint, etc. Very personable business owner. Will be calling him again in a couple of years.

 + -1 moreDon and his son were fantastic! So easy to work with and professional. I was able to schedule an appointment a few days later on a Saturday which worked best with my schedule, and Don called right on time to let me know he was on his way. They cleaned out the vent, identified & removed the issue, and provided recommendations on how to avoid the same issue in the future. They also left everything so neat & clean after they were done working. I would definitely hire them again and plan to have them come back in the future for regular cleanings.
Description of Work: Needed to have the dryer vent cleaned since there was a strange odor coming from it into the dryer. Our dryer is on the first floor and the vent runs down into the basement and out of the house, so it is a few feet long.

 + -1 moreThis was an excellent experience. All my questions were answered (and I ask lots of questions) so I knew exactly what the provider was doing and why. He was extremely thorough, vacuuming the entire floor of my laundry room after he was done to make sure there wasn't the slightest bit of stray lint anywhere in the area. He even had his helper pick up loose lint from the ground underneath the exterior vent port. My dryer is much more efficient now, and I don't have to worry about fire caused by a dryer vent with too much lint. I recommend Excel-Lint highly. Well-deserved all A's.

 + -1 moreProvider was amazing. Came on time, and within minutes had 2 plans of action mapped out. We agreed on pursuing more inexpensive short-term option now and will revisit longer-term fix in the next few weeks. I want to be clear: Provider applied no pressure to choose either option. He simply let us know what was going on so we could get to some reasonable course of action. Provider was smart and focused. He and his assistant pointed out areas where we are vulnerable to more than just a dryer problem. The provider was thinking about how we can take care of the house, not just how to fix the dryer vent. Provider is a pleasure to deal with. Would absolutely do business with these guys again and probably will. Provider spent several hours here, dealing with cramped conditions in the work area. I did not hear one complaint. Instead, he remained cheerful and amiable. Cost was absolutely in range and reasonable. One more GREAT benefit: They do most of their work on weekends.

Description of Work: When my dryer vent came loose and there was lint all over the place I couldn't get it hooked back up and read that it could be a dangerous situation. I checked Angie's list and found this provider. I called Don up and left a detailed msg concerning my dryer vent problem. He called me back that evening and arranged to come out on the following afternoon as per my request. He gave me an approx price for his service on the phone ahead of time which I appreciated. I now know why this provider has such stellar reviews. He was responsive and accommodating it setting up an emergency service call. He called ahead to confirm the appt and arrived right when he said he would. Don brought his son Zack along as his helper. Don was professional, courteous, and, very knowledgeable. He explained everything. I am extremely happy with this provider and the service he provided. I would definately recommend him to others ho may need dryer vent service. Thank you Angie's List!  + -1 moreDon was prompt & arrived as scheduled. Our vent had not been cleaned in 6 years & our dryer was not working well. Don was very thorough and did a GREAT job. It took quite a bit longer than he estimated, but he stayed and finished. We had a different service provider clean our vent 5 or 6 years ago & had a bad experience; very unprofessional and actually damaged a door we had to replace. Don was very professional & very neat. When he was done you could see that he had been there. We thought that we would have to replace the dryer because it was barely working; now it's working like new!! Excel-Lint is on our list for another cleaning in 2 years!!

 + -1 moreThey reconnected the dryer vent hose to the outside. It had disconnected from the outlet causing the room to get heated and dusty. They checked the connection from inside and outside. Then they cleaned the lint from the hose and inside the dryer.

 + -1 morethey were very prompt and friendly ,acted in a professional manner ,removed the foreign items that were lodged in the machine, and even vacummed the lint filter of the machine as a courtesy.

Description of Work: I had my dryer vent replaced with a rigid style hose. He cleaned and repaired the outside vent as well as removed the back of the dryer and cleaned all inside the dryer. He showed me where the lent collected and how to keep it clean.
