C & B Landscaping

The work was done in 2 days....very professional and friendly. This is the second time I used them and I was very pleased. I even wanted some additional plants and they got them for me on the same day.

Our roof was covered in snow and ice, and a major snowstorm was forecast for the day after next. We found Cand B on Angie's List and called them. Crystal came over within 1/2-hour and gave us an estimate for roof snow removal, which was reasonable, so we went with it. Crystal and Mike came the next day at exactly the time we arranged and cleaned our roof. It was very slippery up there so they used a hoisting system for safety. We liked their emphasis on safety. We were very satisfied with the work they did, and afterwards, they shoveled the snow that came down from the roof. We're 100% satisfied. As forecast, the next day (today), there is a major snowstorm, and we're lucky that Crystal and Mike were able to come when we needed them.

Crystal and her hubby are one of a kind! She has a wonderful talent envisioning exactly what I was hoping to achieve. Obviously, I was so happy with their work, I hired them again on the spot for a second project. I had absolutely no issues or problems whatsoever-in fact, I actually enjoyed the process! Crystal kept me informed start to finish regarding choices, options and price point. There were no surprises and the quality of work was simply outstanding. I held a Labor Day pool party for family and friends and everyone was astounded and impressed by the changes. My yard, front and back, looked as if it had jumped off HGTV! Crystal and her husband are great. They gave me some suggestions for landscaping in the spring. They completed removing weed, added topsoil where the very very big hostas were removed. They also edged and place weed block paper down. We are definitely using them this spring!!!!!

Crystal and Mike did a beautiful job. They work hard, are a pleasure to deal with and have good ideas. I would definitely recommend them and would use them again. .

After some wait the crew arrived and removed an old railroad tiered wall and put up a new tumbled stone replacement about forty feet long and somewhat curved. The project took four days and the result was great. They took away all the old material and reseeded the lawn.

What a truly phenomenal job this wonderful team did for us! Crystal and Mike tackled our mess of shrubs, plants and trees, and with the greatest of skill and a lot of back-breaking work, turned it into something that is now lovely to look at. Crystal is a professional arborist and what we would consider a world expert on all aspects of landscaping. She spent a lot of time patiently answering questions and giving us clear, excellent advice. She and Mike truly could not have done a more perfect or beautiful job and we are very grateful for their ultra-conscientious, meticulous work and expertise. Plus, they are extremely nice and easy to talk to. We could not recommend them more highly!

The owner came and sounded promising! She promised that the estimate will be mailed in couple of days! The estimate never came. I called / SMSed for the estimate and there was no response. Totally unresponsive!

Crystal was professional and reliable. She returned every call and showed up when she said she would. She listened to what I was looking for and worked with me to make decisions that would be best for my property. The job is completed and I am very happy with both the result and the price!

All work is top notch and done with professionalism. I first had Crystal for a very small job 4 years ago and was so impressed that I have her back every year for any landscaping that needs to be done. This year I will have her back again.

I chose to use Cand B Landscaping because of the many positive reviews on Angie's List. Pus, they are located close to our town. While most of the work was done in a very satisfactory manor, we did have issues with the reseeding job Crystal and her partner did. Rather than putting down high quality grass seed appropriate for our lawn, they used a contractor's mix that (a) grew too quickly, (b) was the wrong color green (so it didn't match our existing lawn), and (c) contained a lot of weeds. Despite following the watering instructions Crystal gave us, the new grass patches grew in horribly. This work was originally done in the spring of 2012. In the fall of 2012, we asked Crystal to reseed the areas again - this time using a nice fescue/bluegrass/rye mix. While Crystal agreed to do this work for us at no charge, it was performed so late in the fall that the grass seed never had a chance to grow before cool temperatures took over. I'd still recommend that others use Cand B Landscaping, since they perform good work at a good price. But if you're asking them to reseed for you, make sure they're using a high quality grass mix!

The biggest problem was that we didn't get what we wanted. There was a huge disconnect between what we thought we were getting and what we did get. We even had pictures as examples and also told the female partner that we wanted it to look (in style) similar to what we already had. She seemed more interested in letting us know that she didn't work with cement which was fine since the design didn't need it and the pictures we showed her didn't use cement. We were very surprised to come home and find the step and quot;finishedand quot; and it wasn't what we thought we had agreed on with her. We paid them for the work that they did and discussed ways that we could change the step so that we would be happy with it. Her male partner had some good ideas and we agreed that we would move forward with those and indicated that we would pay for them. With a little more work it seemed that we could get something closer to what we wanted. Well, that was the last we ever saw or heard of them. The work they did was solid but very uninspired. They did work hard when they were here. Initially they were very professional - the female partner called me back right away, came out to look at the step very promptly. However, their behavior once we indicated that we weren't happy was exceedingly unprofessional. If you have some very basic stone work to do that doesn't need any creativity and is simple in design these folks would probably be fine. You need to make sure that they understand exactly what you are looking for or you will end up with unsatisfactory results like we did. And if you don't like the results, don't expect them to be professional enough to rectify the situation.

Crystal and Michael were a pleasure to work with and I am looking forward to having them back in the Spring to renovate my backyard. They are incredibly hard workers and it is obvious they take pride in their work and want to work with you to complete a project that is mutually satisfying to you and them. They have a right to be proud of their work and I would not hesitate to recommend them, without reservation, to anyone wanting a landscape that will generate an abundance of compliments.

Crystal and a helper arrived at the agreed-upon time. They proceeded to get the job done exactly as I had requested it, at a very reasonable price. I couldn't have asked for more.

We had new topsoil and seed placed and new flower beds were designed for our shade trees. They explained how to care for each plant as well as the lawn and advised us where the plants had been purchased and gave us the receipts to the nursery in case we had a problem with anything

Very well. They did great work, for the price range promised. Finished work was as promised. Not quite as quickly as promised and a little lax on communicating with us about the delay, but that's minor as their work was great and they were very nice people.

The project went well from start to finish. Crystal and Mike were willing to discuss ways to get the job done with less labor and expense in a way that would hold up over time, unlike the original installation. I would hire them in the future to do this kind of work.

Work was done with utmost care to detail. Crystal and Mike make you feel as if you've known them forever. A pleasure to do business with. Already have plans for future sidewalk pavers, backyard firepit, backyard cleaning and mulching, vegetable and herb garden, patio paving, etc., etc., etc. Yes we are going to be doing business for a long, long, long time! :) Book 'em Danno!!! ;)

I do not want to use them again. They did a lousy job, and they didn't even pick out half the weeds.

I emailed to request an appt. They responded that they would love to give me an estimate. We arranged a date. I called a few days before and SPOKE to the person in charge who apologized but said they would not be able to make the appt. We arranged another appt. I asked them if they were sure the date worked, as I was coming in from out of town to meet them. They guaranteed that it would work. They did not come, not did they call to cancel. I should have called them again; I had a feeling they wouldn't show, altho they had good ratings on Angie's List

The job went very well and was directed by Crystal. She is diligent and straightforward. They even stacked the cut logs into neat piles for my convenience. We were very happy with their work and would call them again.
